Ex-Pinoy Big Brother Otso housemates and love team Ashley del Mundo and Tan Roncal guested and shared on iWant ASAP what angel-like characteristics they love about each other.
For Tan, things that make Ashley an angel include her angelic face, her cute way of speaking, and her words of wisdom as well. On the other hand, Ashley thinks that he saw an angel in Tan because he's very generous as he always puts others before himself and would go out of his way to help others. Ashley added that he’s also very caring and family-oriented as well.
AshTan actually became first-time hosts for Kapamilya Chat Level Up and got to have a fun kwentuhan with seasoned host Luis Manzano. And that made solid AshTan fans get that ultimate kilig feels again with their hosting gig. But they no longer have to wait for an AshTan project as the love team finally had their launching digital series, PILIkula: Ado-boo.
In this series, Ashley and Tan were childhood friends who got reunited through technology. Ashley portrays the role of Hannah, a Filipina living in Sydney. Tan meanwhile played the character of Rico who, on the other hand, is living in the Philippines. Their paths crossed again as Hannah needed help from Rico to cook the perfect adobo for her mom’s birthday. That’s when the childhood friends got to talk about the memories they made when they were younger. If you’ve actually watched the trailer, you probably saw that there were unspoken feelings and what-ifs that sparked their potential romance.
PILIkula: Ado-boo premiered last October 25 via KTX.ph, wherein viewers got to join a special Zoom party with the cast. Ashley said she has similarities with her character as she also speaks and dresses up like Hannah. The same thing goes for Tan as he’s also the easygoing or relaxed type of guy just like his character Rico. Yet, above all, Tan shows the same liking and affection towards Ashley, just like the way their characters Rico and Hannah feel towards each other in the series.
This project turned out to be successful with the help of AshTan’s families who also helped them with their DIY virtual shoot.
