Three days before setting the butterflies in our stomachs aflutter with his Philippine cinema debut through the family-centric comedy-drama flick Sunshine Family, Korean pop idol Shinwoo of the boy band Blanc7 has put under his spell with his appearance on ASAP Natin ‘To last Sunday, June 2.
Joining the 28-year-old Korean artist onstage were mainstay Billy Crawford and actor-singer JM de Guzman who sang the acoustic version of the Ariana Grande hit “Break Free”, which probably earned a lot of finger hearts from the viewers, whether a Hallyu fan or not.
As the camera panned to the audiences, his co-stars on the aforementioned film were spotted enjoying the three dashing dudes’ performance – his leading lady Sue Ramirez and veteran character actor Nonie Buencamino. Sue even flashed her finger heart to show her support for him!
A Filipino-Korean co-production under Spring Films and FILM LINE Pictures Productions Ltd., “Sunshine Family” takes us to the plight of a dysfunctional Filipino family whose relationship would be, at the same time, tested and strengthened, as they try to cover up the hit-and-run accident involving their patriarch (Nonie Buencamino) as a team. It serves as the 10th anniversary offering of Spring Films.
Completing the Pinoy cast are multi-faceted celebrated actress Shamaine Buencamino and child star Marco Masa.
