On ASAP Natin 'To May 5 episode, Arjo Atayde gets reunited with his former dance crew, Legit Status, one of the top and award-winning groups in the country.
In the VTR, Coach Vimi Rivera talks about his relationship with Arjo and how the group came together. Coach Vimi narrates, “Nag-start ‘yung group namin noong 2009, because we wanted to join worlds to represent the Philippines. Si Arjo kasi, siya ‘yung nag-invite sa akin mag-coach no’n sa highschool nila. Arjo’s a very talented dancer. Paborito niya talaga mag-perform. Meron talagang mga natural dancers, I would consider Arjo as one of them.”
Arjo says that he believes that his love for dancing was something he inherited from his family, because they too share the same interest. “My mom used to do pep squad. May dancers pala sa dad side ko. I think na-inherit ko siya. It’s an influence just like acting,” Arjo points out. He recalls that he used to listen to upbeat music of artists like Madonna, Billy Crawford, and Gary Valenciano, who is his idol.
Watch Arjo in a one-of-a-kind performance as he shows how to shake it the way he did back when he was in school.
