“Simula ngayon hanggang future.”
This was what Ronnie Alonte wrote in the caption of one of his Instagram posts wherein he’s seen giving his girlfriend, ASAP Natin ‘To performer and actress Loisa Andalio the sweetest kiss on the cheek.
However, adoring fans of the real-and-reel life sweethearts, also known by their ship name “LoiNie”, knew that that almost didn’t happen as they almost called it quits in 2018. After several weeks of being caught in the controversy, Ronnie addressed the issue during an interview, but it was not quite what fans hoped to hear. He admitted that they were having a rough time, but backtracked to appease worried supporters that it’s only normal for any couple to face some challenges.
It took long until they cleared up whatever misunderstanding they had and quickly showed to the world how strong their love is!
In fact, Loisa was in cheerleader mode for Ronnie who was playing for Team Red during the Star Magic All-Star Games in August 2018. Although his team lost, the Hashtag member still felt like a winner because his special someone watched him on the sidelines. “Talo na… Nanalo pa! #mycheerleader,” he boasted on a photo of Loisa sitting courtside and sporting a red shirt.
And their romance does not only make their supporters kilig, but even their close friends as well. In Hashtag Tom Doromal’s guesting in Magandang Buhay in 2018, he imparted how much Ronnie loves Loisa by disclosing that he can’t even disturb Ronnie whenever he’s talking to Loisa.
On that same interview, Ronnie supported Tom’s revelation by saying how much Loisa has changed him into a much better person than he was before.
“Simula po no’ng nakilala ko si Loisa, iba na. Iba na po. Parang buo na ‘yong dibdib ko talaga. Nakumpeto na po ako,” he stated.
In November 2019, LoiNie celebrated their third anniversary together in one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the Philippines – the private island of Amanpulo in Palawan. As seen in both of their Instagram accounts, the couple apparently enjoyed getting sun-kissed skins as they bathed in the clear blue waters.
Just last October, Loisa threw a surprise 25th birthday party for Ronnie, which was attended by loved ones and friends that includes his friends from It’s Showtime’s all-male group, the Hashtags. Indeed, a touching expression of genuine and sincere love.
Tying the knot may not be in their immediate plans yet, but for Ronnie, one thing’s for sure. In their Magandang Buhay interview last year, Ronnie declared that it’s definitely Loisa to whom he still wants to walk down the aisle with once the right time comes, especially now that both of them have already developed a closer relationship to God.
“Opo, lalo ngayon. Kasi kumbaga, lalo na’t alam namin sa sarili namin na nasa gitna namin si God, ayokong magkasala. Naniniwala po kasi ako na kapag meron kang partner, na sabay kayong naggro-grow, mas maganda. Hindi ‘yong mag-isa ka lang palagi sa buhay. Kailangan mo rin talaga ng partner. Hindi ko feeling, alam kong siya ‘yon. Siya ‘yong binigay,” Ronnie said when asked again if he sees Loisa as the girl who she wants to spend his whole life with.
Then he added, “Saka wala na kami laro. Lalo po ako, ayoko na ng laro, ayoko na ng puchu-puchu. Focus ako sa kung ano pa ‘yong susunod na mangyayari sa akin – ‘yong bagong ako.”
And on November 26, Loisa and Ronnie marked their fifth anniversary as a couple with the young actor posting a moving message for his beloved girlfriend on Instagram. "Ikalimang taon para satin dalawa. Mahal na mahal kita mas higit pa sa iniisip mo." On the IG photo that was posted together with the message, Loisa is holding their fifth anniversary cake during their celebration.
What’s next for this tandem? We will have to wait and see. Until then, feel the love they have for each other through their lovely photos included in this gallery!
