Known for giving us witty and striking performances on ASAP, the Kanto Boys are indeed the one of the most fascinating assemblages of male showbiz idols. They were launched on the weekly musical variety show in 2009 and appeared regularly until 2015—the year they took their final bow as a group during ASAP’s 20th anniversary.
Where are they now?
Prominent TV host and international music sensation Billy Crawford recently settled down and started a new chapter in his life by tying the knot with actress Coleen Garcia in April 2018. Apart from starting a family, Billy continues to thrive in his showbiz career. After stints as a host of numerous TV programs, including It’s Showtime, Billy has since focused on his music career anew and released a full-length album this year called “Work In Progress.” He also appeared on the recently concluded World of Dance Philippines as one of the jurors, and now hosts Idol Philippines.
Multiple award-winning and box-office actor draw John Lloyd Cruz had a very special participation as Mateo Rodriguez in the 2017 action fantasy teleserye La Luna Sangre, and played Romeo Valentino in the weekly sitcom Home Sweetie Home before he took an indefinite leave from showbiz. His lofty stature as among the top male artists in the industry with a string of hit movies and top rating teleseryes makes his avid followers eagerly anticipate his return, hopefully in the near future.
Apart from being a performer and an actor, award-winning host Luis Manzano continues to dominate the scene as a TV host. Over the years, he has been emceeing the most exciting game shows and biggest reality talent competitions in the country. Earlier this year, Luis was a presenter of World of Dance Philippines and currently, he hosts the latest season of Minute to Win It: Last Man Standing.
Dance idol Vhong Navarro constantly wows us with his amazing talent as a comedian, host and actor. Last year, he starred as Benedict in the comedy film titled “Unli Life” with 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana Wynwyn Marquez. Vhong continues to entertain the Madlang People daily as a mainstay host of It’s Showtime, and will soon leave viewers ROTFL as a new cast member of Home Sweetie Home.
