Regine Gary V feted ASAP world class acts

Your favorite Sunday musical party ASAP Natin ‘To went back live on Sunday, April 18 elevating the concert experience even higher with world-class acts highlighting the musical noontime program, as it marks Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid’s birthday and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano’s 38th year in showbiz.

Gary V opened festivities singing Jackie Wilson’s “(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher” before launching his latest inspirational single "Make Us Whole Again” to mark his career milestone. 

 

 

New Gen Divas Janine Berdin, Elha Nympha, Zephanie Dimaranan, and Sheena Belarmino then joined Gary in his touching and high-spirited opening number. Concert King Martin Nievera, and Legendary OPM singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid, and King of Teleserye Theme Songs Erik Santos then took the ASAP stage to perform “High Hopes” by Panic! At The Disco with Jeremy Glinoga, Jin Macapagal, Joao Constancia, and Jameson Blake heating up the dance floor.

Young singers Maris Racal and Vivoree Esclito then gave their sweet rendition of “The Tide is High.” Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Divine Diva ZsaZsa Padilla, and Klarisse de Guzman would then elevate things up a notch with "Higher Love” as Dance Princess AC Bonifacio busted some impressive dance moves.

 

Asia’s Pop Heartthrob Darren Espanto also made a grand comeback on ASAP Natin ‘To with an exhilarating, powerful performance.

 

 

ASAP’s Queen of the Dancefloor Kim Chiu heated up the stage grooving up to the beat of Dua Lipa’s “Levitating.” P-pop sensations BGYO then gave their ACES fandom a memorable treat with their rendition of One Direction’s “Drag Me Down.”

A new breed of ASAP icons KD Estrada, Anji Salvacion, Diego Gutierrez, and Sam Cruz also stunned audiences with their superb talent as the trending TikTok star and music artist Angela Ken made waves singing her debut single “Ako Na Muna.

 

 

Onstage tandem Darren and AC then did a fiery dance performance of Major Lazer’s “Que Color” before OPM stalwarts Jed Madela, Erik Santos, Juris Fernandez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Klarisse de Guzman, Ogie Alcasid, and Martin Nievera paid a touching tribute to the late OPM legend Claire dela Fuente, singing a medley of her unforgettable tunes.

 

 

 

Init Sa Magdamag lead stars Yam Concepcion, Gerald Anderson and JM De Guzman surely made their scorching presence felt with Fearless Diva Jona singing a soaring rendition of the upcoming drama’s theme song.

 

 

Regine would then celebrate her birthday singing her classic songs in scintillating duets with Zsa Zsa Padilla and the New Gen Divas. Regine began by singing one of her very first hits, “Kung Maibabalik Ko Lang,” with the Divine Diva 

 

 

 

Regine then performed her longtime smashes “Damdamin Ko Sa’yo” with Elha Nympha,“Kung Kailan Pa” with Sheena Belarmino,“Buhay ng Buhay Ko” with Janine Berdin and “Ngayong Wala Ka Na” with Zephanie Dimaranan.
