Christmas celebrations continue hours after the ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2021 on ASAP Natin ‘To’s “Pasko Natin ‘To” episode on December 19 featuring OPM icons and Kapamilya stars at their best in delivering world-class entertainment.
A solemn vocal tapestry first enlivened viewers as ASAP’s main performers sang the classic Christmas hymns. Concert King Martin Nievera, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, King of OPM Ogie Alcasid, Asia’s Phoenix Morissette, and Asia’s Pop Heartthrob Darren Espanto were part of an angelic, enchanting chorale singing inspiration Christmas tunes. They include the traditional Yuletide hymns “Carol of the Bells,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” “Joy to the World,” and a medley of the gospel tunes “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” and “Joyful Joyful.”
Production numbers from Janine Gutierrez, AC Bonifacio, Andrea Brillantes, Loisa Andalio, Francine Diaz, Maymay Entrata, Janella Salvador, Enchong Dee, Ronnie Alonte, Joao Constancia, Jameson Blake, Jeremy Glinoga, and Jin Macapagal also lit up the stage.
The show also marked the 20th anniversary of Pinoy rock legends 6Cyclemind, as the group performed their biggest hit from 2005, “Sandalan,” with top OPM balladeers Ogie, Jed Madela, and Erik Santos.
Show-stopping collabs from Darren and Kyle Echarri and Martin and Morrisette brought much frenzy, as well Christmas classic duets from ASAP's New Gen singers Sheena Belarmino, Reiven Umali, Jayda Avanzado, Anthony Castillo, Lara Maigue, JM Yosures, Elha Nympha, and Sam Mangubat.
P-pop idols BINI and BGYO again brought the house down, performing their latest tunes. BINI bopped to their hit song “Kinikilig” while BGYO excited viewers with their latest chart-topper “Kundiman.”
More holiday duets from top new-gen love teams DonBelle (Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano) and SethDrea (Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes) also brought that romantic vibe to the extreme. Lead stars of Star Cinema’s 2021 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Love at First Stream”—Kaori Oinuma, Jeremiah Lisbo, Daniela Stranner, and Anthony Jennings—also took the stage with their own kilig duet performances of Pinoy Christmas classics.
A touching, inspirational Christmas treat from Gary V, Martin, Zsa Zsa, Klarisse de Guzman, Jason Dy, Nina, and the premiere couple Regine and Ogie, who are celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary, together with new-gen artists Angela Kim, Sam Cruz, and Diego Gutierrez also sparked more holiday cheer.
