A really “Hot, Hot, Hot” ASAP Natin ‘To serves scorching performances to welcome the summer

Are you starting to feel the heat? Blame it on ASAP Natin ‘To’s February 28 episode, #ASAPHotHotHot. Our talented ASAP performers and special Kapamilya guests served us with mega hot world-class performances to raise the temperature in the Philippines even higher.

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, and King of Teleserye Theme Songs Erik Santos started welcoming the summer vibes with a peppy performance of “Walking on Sunshine”. Dancefloor royals Kim Chiu and AC Bonifacio joined the party with a literal “Hot, Hot, Hot” performance.

The Voice alums Darren Espanto, Kyle Echarri, and Morisette Amon entered the stage at exactly the right time as “Fire Burning On The Dancefloor” plays. Their amazing voices attracted Jin Macapagal, Jeremy Glinoga, and Enchong Dee to offer us some of their sexy and fierce dance moves with “Hot In Here”.

As the energy on stage continued to burn, OPM legends Ogie Alcasid and Martin Nievera sang “Danger Zone”. Maymay Entrata and KarJon (Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza) apparently didn’t get the memo and popped their own choreography to “Katchi”

Singing idols Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs Angeline Quinto, RnB Princess Kyla, and iDolls (Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario) kept the temp on high with their performance of “Disco Inferno”. Joshua Garcia also got us fanning ourselves when he danced “Summer” by Calvin Harris. Young singers Elha Nympha, Sheena Belarmino, and Janine Berdin and the iconic Gary Valenciano declared that “The Heat Is On” with a belting rendition of the hit song by The Eagles’ Glenn Frey.

We could totally feel the warmth also in our hearts as ASAP invited the King and Queen of Hearts to share some kilig before the love month ends. On-screen and off-screen sweethearts Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla both prepared some smoking performances with Kathryn dancing to Black Eyed Peas’ “Girl LIke Me” and Daniel singing his version of “Ikaw Pa Rin” by Tito Mina.

A heated showdown also ensued as Ogie unleashed his alter egos on the ASAP stage — the Japanese-Korean idol Ban Sot Mee and the Pinoy viral sensation Eydie Waw. Ban Sot Mee performed his most trending song “Taba Koo Na Bes” with the dance accompaniment of Jeremy, Jin, Aljon, and Enchong. Eydie Waw also wasn’t going to let up and performed his viral TikTok hit, “Maga ako, Manas Ako”, with some of ASAP’s lovely ladies, Vivoree, Maymay, and Karina.

The talent on stage began blazing as singing royalties Erik, Nina, Martin, and Zsa Zsa were joined by the next generation following in their footsteps Janine B, Elha, and Sheena. The group serenaded us with an acapella mash-up of “Shape of You” and “No Scrubs”.

The cast of the upcoming Wattpad story turned TV series He’s Into Her showed us that romance will still fill the air. Stars Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Kaori Oinuma, Rhys Eugenio, and Vivoree Esclito danced to the fun and hopeful love song, “Ever After”.

In anticipation of Himig 11th Edition a.k.a. the biggest OPM songwriting competition, the trending hot songs from some of the finalists were performed live on the ASAP stage by their designated song interpreters. Famous artists Agsunta and Moira sang David Mercado’s “Kahit Kunwari Man Lang” which is a relatable song of love without a label. R&B and soul singer JMKO performed Mariah Alyssa Moriones’ “Tabi-Tabi Po” which highlights how, like folklore, love is an uncharted territory that we need to patiently explore. Heartthrob singers Jeremy G and Kyle Echarri sang the chill love song, “Kahit Na Masungit”, composed by John Francis Pasicolan and Jayson Franz Pasicolan.

ASAP’s newest breed of artists Sam Cruz, KD Estrada, Anji Salvacion, and Diego Gutierrez demonstrated their exceptional voices as they performed with multi-platinum singer and Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3 contender, Geneva Cruz. They sang a medley of Geneva’s hit songs “Kailan” and “Pangarap Ka”.

Queen of the Dancefloor Kim Chiu, Dancefloor Sweetheart Maymay, and Next Gen Dance Idol AC collabed on a fierce K-Pop dance performance for the afternoon. Maymay and AC got our hips moving to their sizzling performance of Somi’s “What You Waiting For” while Kim served up some extra spicy moves to Aespa’s “Black Mamba”

Rock icon Bamboo and Birit Queens Angeline Quinto and Klarisse De Guzman also throw a fire performance with their mash-up of two powerful songs, “Take Me To Church” and “Bring Me To Life”.

Asia’s Songbird Regine and Asia’s Phoenix Morissette take us sky-high to the sun with their spectacular world-class musical performance of “She Used To Be Mine” by Sara Bareilles.

Mr. Pure Energy Gary V certainly wanted to end the show with the party fever soaring. He invited energetic young dancers AC, Enchong, and Joshua to perform one of his classic bops “You Got Me Working” with him.

Join the ASAP party in the coming weeks as it’s about to get hotter and hotter with summer set on full blast!
