ASAP Natin ‘To welcomed February with a fun-filled fest on their February 6 #FebtasticASAP episode.
OPM King Ogie Alcasid with the rest of the ASAP fam kicked off the month as the music blared the beat of “Give It Up.” Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Elha Nympha, and Lara Maigue continued the afternoon bop with their performance of “Lady Bump.”
Heightening the disco fever, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla belted “Never Can Say Goodbye” with fellow singing divas Janine Berdin and KZ Tandingan. Dancing beauties Charlie Dizon and Krystal Brimner also joined in with grooving vibes.
Phenomenal singers Nina, Sheena Belarmino, Yeng Constantino, and Janine Gutierrez then stepped onto the stage to sing “Ring My Bell” while handsome balladeers Erik Santos, Kyle Echarri, and Jeremy Glinoga performed “Get Down On It.”
Jason Dy, Alexa Ilacad, and Nyoy Volante then called for a dance off as they sang “Shake Your Booty.” Dancing hotties Enchong Dee, Robi Domingo, Jameson Blake, Seth Fedelin, and Edward Barber heeded the call and showed off their moves to the tune of “Born To Be Alive.” Gary Valenciano and Darren Espanto made the opening segment even more memorable with their pumped up duo performance of “A Night To Remember.”
Kapamilya’s precious jewel Lovi Poe stunned the crowd as she gave a birthday treat performing Christina Aguilera’s “But I Am a Good Girl.”
Fearless Diva Jona, Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ, and Pinoy Rock Icon Bamboo then set the mood with an expressive performance of “Save Your Tears.”
Power Diva and soon-to-be mommy Angeline Quinto also offered a moving performance with her rendition of “Iingatan Ka.” Seasoned singers Zsa Zsa and Regine joined her to belt the touching songs “Hulog Ng Langit” with her.
As a special celebration of Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon and Dave Lamar’s wedding, the ASAP New Gen Birit Idols offered a warm tribute. Sheena, Sam Mangubat, Janine B, Anthony Castillo, Lara, Reiven Umali, Elha, and JM Yosures altogether sang a medley of romantic music for the newlyweds.
Young rising stars Alexa, Angela Ken, Anji Salvacion filled the air with more romance as they serenaded the crowd with a beautiful collab of “Ikaw Lang.”
Following the “what if” love story of Yeng and Ryan Bang that was shared on It’s Showtime, Yeng took us on a trip down memory lane as she performed “B.A.B.A.Y.” which was the song she dedicated before to her friendship with Ryan.
The episode’s “The Greatest Showdown” was dedicated to birthday celebrant and the country’s one and only Concert King, Martin Nievera. He, himself, graced viewers with a powerful performance of his iconic song “Forever.” World-class singers Gary V, Zsa Zsa, Darren, Erik, Regine, and Ogie then followed this with a magnificent tribute singing Martin’s favorite classics. Gary V sang “I Don’t Have The Heart,” Zsa Zsa gave her version of “One Day In Your Life,” and Darren belted “Unchained Melody.” Erik then crooned “Somewhere Down The Road” before Regine sang “One Moment in Time” and Ogie performed “The Glory of Love.”
More exciting performances are in store this February on ASAP Natin ‘To, airing every 12 noon on Sundays on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live and A2Z.
