Nothing can break a bond of a family. The July 11 episode of ASAP Natin ‘To became a thanksgiving celebration for Kapamilyas all over the world who gave full support and unconditional love to the ABS-CBN despite the challenges it is facing. Throughout the whole fun and laughter of the musical weekend party, everyone could feel the warmth and comfort of #ASAPKapamilyaForever.
The show’s biggest divas Klarisse de Guzman, Angeline Quinto, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid began the celebration with a powerful message translated through a performance of Britney’s “Stronger.” Dance royalties Maymay Entrata and AC Bonifacio were then joined by next generation Kapamilya leading ladies Belle Mariano, Andrea Brillantes, and Francine Diaz to show off their ultimate hataw moves.
Multi-talented star Kyle Echarri, Asia’s Pop Heartthrob Darren Espanto, and global pop icon Iñigo Pascual followed those up with an invincible performance of “The Champion”. To add more energy and spunk, dance hotties Enchong Dee, Joao Constancia, Jameson Blake, Robi Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, and Ronnie Alonte took the stage.
Top OPM icons Ogie Alcasid, Erik Santos, and Gary Valenciano led the ASAP family in harmonizing the meaningful song "Together in Electric Dreams" as Queen of the Dancefloor Kim Chiu delivered an electrifying dance performance.
Aside from the ASAP Natin ‘To family, several Kapamilya stars stepped on stage to show solidarity and appreciation for the ABS-CBN family whilst singing the heartwarming song “Kapamilya Forever”.
It was definitely the perfect day to celebrate the network’s biggest talent management, Star Magic. Being home to the brightest of stars for almost three decades, Star Magic strives to hone world-class talents that bring joy and recognition to Filipinos. As a fitting celebration, current Star Magic artists and some new ones that signed on during the recent Black Pen Day event presented marvelous back to back performances on the ASAP stage.
ASAP’s New Gen Birit Diva’s also prepared a stunning collab performance singing songs of hope and perseverance. Janine Berdin, Zephanie Dimaranan, Sheena Belarmino, and Elha Nympha each sang the hits “Wag Ka Nang Umiyak”, “Pagsubok”, “Himala”, and “Maghintay Ka Lamang” respectively.
Bringing us smiles and amusement was the ASAP transformation of Ogie, Robi, Iñigo, Kyle, and Darren into the Pinoy disco boy band Hagibis. Their macho performance of the band’s “ Legs”, “Katawan”, and “Nanggigigil” did not cease to bring tears of laughter to our eyes.
ASAP’s new breed of singers Diego Gutierrez, Sam Cruz, KD Estrada, Anji Salvacion, and Angela Ken continued the entertaining afternoon with a chill performance of Ben&Ben’s “Maybe The Night”. It was an exquisite opening for Ben&Ben’s own performance of their latest single “Upuan'' that followed.
Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan and Rock Royalty Bamboo couldn’t let the energy falter and proceeded to wow us with their rocking duet of Bamboo’s “Probinsyana”.
Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda offered a grand tribute with a gratitude speech to Kapamilyas and a touching performance of “Ano'ng Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa.”
ASAP’s greatest singers then joined him on stage by bridging the tribute with the heartfelt songs “Hawak Kamay”, “Habang May Buhay”, and “Salamat”.
