PAANDAR 2016: ‘ASAP’ Birit Queens’ Best of 2016

Every Sunday, Angeline Quinto, Klarisse de Guzman, Morissette and Jona entertain us with their one-of-a-kind vocal showdowns. The four of them have proven that they are truly worthy to be called the “ASAP” Birit Queens. Before this year ends in a few days, let us look back at the best performances of the “ASAP” Birit Queens for the year 2016.

The “ASAP” Birit Queens gave their own renditions to some of the famous wedding anthems. Klarisse sang “Ikaw” as popularized by Yeng Constantino, Jona sang “Ikaw” as popularized by Ariel Rivera, Angelina sang “Pangako” as popularized by Regine Velasquez while Morissette sang “Ngayon At Kailanman” as popularized by Basil Valdez.

They slayed the dance floor with their girl power performance and performed “Run the World” as popularized by Beyonce. For their individual performances, Morissette sang “Titanium” as popularized by Sia, Jona sang “Fighter” as popularized by Christina Aguilera, Klarisse sang “I’m Every Woman” as popularized by Whitney Houston while Angeline sang “I Will Survive” as popularized by Gloria Gaynor.

They also had a one-of-kind concert showdown and performed “Lady Marmalade” as popularized by (Patti) LaBelle. Angeline performed “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” as popularized by The Supremes, Klarisse performed “Free Your Mind” as popularized by En Vogue, Jona performed “Survivor” as popularized by Destiny’s Child while Morissette performed “Wings” as popularized by Little Mix.

The four divas also gave their powerful renditions of today’s pop hits. Morissette sang “Chandelier” as popularized by Sia, Angeline sang “Secret Love Song” as popularized by Little Mix, Jona sang “Skyscraper” as popularized by Demi Lovato while Klarisse sang “Flashlight” as popularized by Jessie J.

The Birit Queens had an all-out vocal showdown on the “ASAP” stage. Jona performed “I Believe” as popularized by Fantasia Barrino, Angelina performed “Inside Your Heaven” as popularized by Carrie Underwood, Klarisse performed “This Is My Now” as popularized by Jordin Sparks while Morissette performed “A Moment Like This” as popularized by Kelly Clarkson.

The quartet relived the disco fever. Morissette performed “No More Tears” as popularized by Donna Summer, Klarisse performed “I Need A Hero” as popularized by Bonnie Tyler, Jona performed “Respect” as popularized by Aretha Franklin while Angeline performed “It’s Raining Men” as popularized by The Weather Girls.

They also performed the greatest hits of the 80’s. Angeline sang “It’s My Turn” as popularized by Diana Ross, Morissette sang “Someone That I Used To Love” as popularized by Natalie Cole, Klarisse sang “Break It To Me Gently” as popularized by Angela Bofill while Jona sang “Almost Over You” as popularized by Sheena Easton.

The four divas had a breaktaking vocal showdown of songs from the James Bond film series. Morissette sang “Live And Let Die” as popularized by Paul McCartney, Klarisse sang “Diamonds Are Forever” as popularized by Shirley Bassey, Angelina sang “For Your Eyes Only” as popularized by Sheena Easton while Jona sang “Skyfall” as popularized by Adele.

The “ASAP” Birit Queens showed off their skills in a much-awaited vocal battle of some famous male ballads. Morissette performed “Just Once” as popularized by James Ingram, Klarisse performed “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You” as popularized by Michael Bolton, Jona sang “I’m Never Gonna Say Goodbye” as popularized by Billy Preston whole Angeline sang “Love Always Finds A Way” as popularized by Peabo Bryson.

The four also belted out popular hugot OPM songs. Angeline sang “Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin” as popularized by Ariel Rivera, Morissette sang “Nandito Ako” as popularized by Ogie Alcasid, Jona sang “Ikaw Ang Pangarap” as popularized by Martin Nievera while Klarisse sang “Sana Maulit Muli” as popularized by Gary Valenciano.
