8 times ASAP celebrated the music and legacy of Celine Dion

Many of us grew up listening to, or even singing, the hits of the legendary diva Celine Dion.
Her unbelievable journey towards attaining her dream of becoming a world-renowned songstress and formidable showmanship is truly inspiring, and this influenced many local and foreign singers we are currently idolizing.

Thus, her Filipino fans got excited after her first-ever concert here in our country was announced early this year.
The French-speaking Canadian singer was supposed to hold her Manila concert in 2014. However, she needed to cancel the concluding leg of her tour that time, including the Philippines, to attend to her then ailing husband Rene Angelil, who later passed away.

After four years of waiting, it's finally happening not just for one, but two nights!

As we gear up for the much-anticipated back-to-back spectacle that would surely bring us to a trip down memory lane and give us all the feels, let us reminisce the instances when our very own Sunday variety show ASAP paid tribute to the one-and-only Celine Dion.

It was indeed a moment of gold as the impressive performance of ASAP Birit Queens of the classic hit "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" trended online.

Rocking a purple hair, Pop Rock Royalty Yeng Constantino astound us when she belted out "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" and "To Love You More" alongside Erik Santos, Jed Madela, and Angeline Quinto.

The powerful rendition of Jed, Rhap Salazar, Laarni Lozada, Sheryn Regis, and two more singers of "Taking Chances" is absolutely uplifting, it tugs our heartstrings.

It felt like we're watching Celine and Barbra Streisand live as besties Rachelle Ann Go and Sarah Geronimo brought the music of Las Vegas on the ASAP stage by performing the revered duo's famous collaboration "Tell Him".

Angeline Quinto gave an amusing and sultry take on the karaoke favorite "All By Myself" as she performed it with actor-comedian Pepe Herrera.

The powerhouse voices of ASAP Morissette, Angeline, and Klarisse were literally shining, shimmering, splendid in their silver gowns as they belted out "All By Myself" before the Pinoy crowd in Los Angeles, California.

Sorry for triggering your sepanx with Charice, but her version of "The Prayer" with Jed and Gary Valenciano should not be missed because it's utterly poignant and hair-raising.

Marking her pregnancy with her unica hija Ceana, Vina Morales heartily sang the upbeat and mushy track "A New Day Has Come".

What's your most favorite Celine Dion song? Are you ready for her debut show in Manila?
