Breaking free from his image as a child star, Zaijian Jaranilla took on the challenge to portray a gay character in the coming of age movie “Boyette: Not a Girl Yet.” And he continues to receive positive feedback for his fun and endearing performance.
In the second round of challenges for his Kapamilya Chat guesting, Zaijian delivered iconic movie lines as himself and as Boyette. The first bullet in the acting challenge was a piece of Bobbie (Bea Alonzo)’s spiel in that epic 13-minute confrontation scene from “Four Sisters and a Wedding.”
We love how the young actor tweaked Carlo Aquino’s classic scene with Vilma Santos from “Bata, Bata Paano Ka Ginawa” by mixing it up with ‘gay lingo.’
The next one was Nora Aunor’s legendary “My brother is not a pig” script from “Minsa’y Isang Gamu-gamo.” Check him out say “shupatembang” with so much authenticity!
His candid ‘beki’ version of Carmi Martin’s epic script about snatchers in Quiapo from “No Other Woman” will bring you good vibes. Lastly, the future superstar made his own ‘beki’ spin on Fernando Poe Jr.’s dialogue in “Kapag Puno na ang Salop.”
