If you can bring time to a halt, what would you do? Kapamilya stars get ‘senti’ and creative in answering this hypothetical question.
All of us have hated the feeling of time speeding up when we want it to slow down, like when saying goodbye to a loved one. Jona recalled the time her father got sick and said she would have pressed pause if she could, “Para maagapan o ma-prevent kung anuman ‘yung naging sakit niya before he passed away. Para magawa namin kung ano ‘yung pwede naming gawin to make him live longer pa po at makasama namin.”
Some are reminded of what really matters, such as family and time spent with them. If time is frozen, Janine Berdin would live in Cebu, for five years, with her family and pet dog, “Feeling ko hindi na ako kilala ng bagong aso namin kasi baby pa ‘yun, so uuwi ako ng Cebu at magse-stay ako d’on ng 5 years para lalaki si Ben kasama ko.”
Young stars Krystal Brimner and Angela Ken would likewise love to go on a vacation with their families. The same goes for Richard Juan who hasn’t seen his mom and sister for almost three years now. Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Ralph Malibunas would be with his loved ones, too.
For Amanda Zamora, who still follows curfews imposed by her parents, it’d be the perfect chance to steal the night away with friends. Frozen time means no rules, so Chico Alicaya would ride a motorcycle without a helmet, and enjoy surfing with friends.
Loveteam Andi Abaya and Kobie Brown thought of traveling – exploring new places, food, and culture. She’d bring her parents around the world and maybe ask Kobie to join them. Kobie would also visit his dad whom he hasn’t seen for a long time, but first, he’d go to Andi’s house to pull a prank, “I will put funny makeup on her face.”
Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte aka LoiNie took it lightly, saying they’d rob a bank like that scene in “Money Heist.”
While it’s impossible to freeze time (thanks to the laws of nature), we can be mindful of how we spend it.
