Kapamilya stars honor COVID-19 frontliners for service and sacrifice

Top Kapamilya stars expressed their utmost and deepest gratitude to the medical and security frontliners, including key personnel in providing basic services, for the sacrifices and selflessness as the country grapples with the onslaught of COVID-19.

In this video, these artists showed how much the efforts of these frontliners are crucial in preventing the further spread of the disease while maintaining safety and security in the affected areas.

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano lead star and Primetime King Coco Martin honored these men and women for their unwavering zeal and risking their lives for their fellow countrymen.

“Nagpapasalamat po kami at sumasaludo sa lahat ng ating mga frontliners, lalong lalo na po sa ating mga doctors, sa ating mga nurses, at sa lahat po na bumubuo ng medical staff. Ganoon din po sa ating mga kapulisan, sa ating mga militar. Alam po namin ibinubuwis po ninyo ang inyong buhay upang mailigtas at mapanatili ang katahimikan.ng bawat Pilipino,” Coco said.

He then appealed for unity among Filipinos amid the health crisis, saying this is something we can overcome as one.

“Sana po magtulong-tulong tayo at magkaisa at sabay-sabay manalangin. Alam ko po na matatapos din po ito,” he added.

Similarly, Bea Alonzo also hailed the frontliners for their courage in facing and battling the pandemic.

“For our health workers, doctors, nurses, soldiers, policemen, frontliners, thank you so much for your courage,” Bea noted. “Maraming maraming salamat sa araw-araw ninyong matapang na pagharap sa ating mga suliranin. We appreciate all your efforts to save our community. At para sa amin po, kayo ang makabagong bayani. Araw-araw po kami nagdarasal ang inyong kaligtasan at naniniwala po ako na kayang kaya nating lagpasan ito. Mabuhay po kayo.”

For her part, Maja Salvador would reiterate the incredible dedication and service of the COVID-19 frontliners.

“Sa atin pong mga nurses, sa atin pong mga doctors, sa lahat po ng staff ng mga hospitals, sa ating mga sundalo, sa ating mga pulis, maraming maraming salamat po sa serbisyo at sa mga sakripisyo ninyo. Mabuhay po kayong lahat,” Maja emphasized.

Maja also told citizens to take utmost care of themselves as they deal with the crisis. “Lagi po tayong mag-ingat at lagi po nating alagaan ang ating sarili at maging healthy po tayo,” she further stressed.

Meanwhile, A Soldier’s Heart’s Gerald Anderson gave special mention to other “frontliners” in serving the basic needs of Filipinos.

“Sa lahat ng nagtatrabaho ngayon sa mga pharmacies, grocery stores, maraming salamat sa inyong sakripisyo dahil napakahirap ng sitwasyon ngayon at nae-expose kayo sa mga posibleng sakit na pwedeng makuha pero nandyan pa rin kayo para makuha namin ang pangangailangan namin sa buhay. Kaya maraming maraming maraming pong salamat sa inyong lahat,” Gerald pointed out.

And, longtime Kapamilya matinee idol Diether Ocampo would salute all our “modern heroes”--the security and medical personnel giving their all to ensure our safety and security as he assured Filipinos we will soon surmount this challenging ordeal.

“Sa ating mga modernong bayani, doctors and nurses, our thoughts and prayers for your safety always. Para sa ating kapulisan at kasamang mga sundalo—Air Force, Navy, Army, Marines at lalo na ating mga kasamang Coast Guardians, saludo kami sa inyo. Kaya natin lagpasin ito, kaya natin ito sama-sama para sa Pilipinas,” Diether stressed.

Likewise, other Kapamilya celebrities, including Vivoree Esclito, Miko Raval, Charlie Dizon, Daniela Stranner, Eppi Borromeo and David Chua, also voiced out their high esteem and appreciation for these frontliners and their heroic efforts in their own special messages in this video.
