Since starring in a soda commercial that skyrocketed her to popularity, Toni Gonzaga has proven herself a Jill of all Trades, hence, she was hailed as “The Ultimate Multimedia Superstar” of showbiz. Unknown to many, though, Toni’s first step into the industry was joining a singing competition at the age of 13. She graced several TV shows since then but considered the beginning of a brighter showbiz career was her first hosting stint for the reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2005.

She then starred in Kapamilya seryes Crazy For You and Precious Hearts Romances Presents Ang Lalaking Nagmahal Sa Akin.
Apart from her notable appearances in the small screen, the versatile artist also made big waves of success by starring in blockbuster films of mostly romantic-comedy genre. The first one on the list is “D’ Anothers” in 2005 which she top billed alongside Vhong Navarro. Their adorable comic rapport landed them to a follow-up project in 2008, “My Only U”.
Toni was bestowed with the title “Romantic Comedy Queen” over a decade of serving us laughs and kilig. “My Amnesia Girl” came in 2010 where she portrayed as the amnesia-stricken TOTGA (The One that Got Away) of Apollo played by John Lloyd Cruz.
Her collaboration with Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda via 2012 movie “This Guy’s In Love with You, Mare” has proven her rom-com expertise once more. Toni and King of Philippine Television Coco Martin joined forces in the endearing 2015 film “You’re My Boss”.
Undeniably, though, the witty gal’s most iconic project of all is the 2013 hit “Four Sisters and a Wedding” where she breathed in life to Teddy’s character, the eldest among the well-loved Salazar sisters. Everything about the masterpiece is considered epic and has now a big part of Pinoy pop culture. But aside from the classic, and meme-inspiring, confrontation scene among the Salazar family, Teddy’s hilarious “Bigyan ng options” dialogue is also a winner. That scene put Toni’s trademark comedic style – spirited witticisms – in zoom.
