Playing sisters in the 2012 primetime series Princess and I, Kathryn’s friendship with Sofia Andres transcended in real life. In fact, it was the former who was among the people who were first to know about the latter’s pregnancy. Thus, Sofia chose the Asia’s Superstar as one of the godmothers of her daughter Zoe. Kathryn was present at the little girl’s baptism in June 2020 and recent birthdays.

Apart from Zoe, it was also revealed in an Instagram post of Magandang Buhay host Melai Cantiveros that Kath is also the ninang of her firstborn Mela.

 

Angelica Panganiban

Having worked together on a few projects, a beautiful friendship bloomed between Angelica and Melai. Thus, she was also one of her famous godparents of Mela and was present during the Christening back in 2014.

The seasoned actress was an obvious choice as well to be the ninang of Feather Prats, the eldest child of her best friend John Prats.

Like Angelica, Sam also took on the role of being a godparent to Feather and made sure that he was present at her Christening in 2016.

Coco might not be able to attend the little girl’s Christening back in February 2022, yet he made sure that his presence would still be felt by sending a gift and a simple letter to her, in which he wrote, “ngayon palang marami na nag mamahal sayo.”

Being the real-life partner of Coco, it wasn’t surprising that Julia is also a godparent to Felize. She might not be able to come to the celebration of her baptism as well, but she offered a sweet gift.

The seasoned actress is a ninang, too, to the cute and energetic Alonzo, the second child of her bestie Dimples Romana.

Meanwhile, Belle is a ninang to Dimples’ youngest kid Elio. Despite her busy schedule, the Can’t Buy Me Love star made sure to show up at the little boy’s star-studded baptism and first birthday celebration in July 2023.

Another famous celebrity present on Baby Elio’s Filipiniana-themed baptism and first birthday fete was Andrea, who from being Dimples’ “baby dragon” in Kadenang Ginto went on to become the ninang of her beloved bunso. The Senior High headliner was seen giddily carrying her handsome inaanak while dressed in a terno.

 

Anne Curtis

Since they’ve been working together for more than a decade already, it didn’t come as a surprise when Anne was picked by Jhong Hilario and his partner Maia Azores to be one of the godparents of their daughter Sarina – along with the other members of the It’s Showtime fam.

In one of his YouTube vlogs, Ninang Anne was seen happily bonding with Sarina as they sang a couple of Disney songs together while inside the hosts’ huddle room.

 

Vice Ganda

We may not have seen a picture of them together yet, but Vice is also part of Sarina’s list of famous godparents.

Besides, the Unkabogable Star is also one of the godparents of Sylvio, the beloved son of her longtime friend Angeline Quinto. She already showed how a doting ninang she was even before the little boy was born as she organized a gender reveal party for the “Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs.” The It’s Showtime host was present as well during the christening of Baby Sylvio in June 2022.

Being besties with Angelica Panganiban has also turned the Linlang actress into one of the godparents of her daughter Amila Sabine. And the little girl’s baptism in February 2023 became an “AngBeKi” reunion since Bela Padilla was present then as well.

John Prats

Being best friends for a long time now, John is definitely more than willing to be a ninong to Angelica Panganiban’s daughter Bean.

The actor-director posted on Instagram a carousel of snaps taken during his and his wife’s visit to the Homans in Subic, Zambales in April 2023. He captioned it, “May inaanak na ako sayo Pets [Angelica] Pasensya na at hindi ka muna importante ngayon. Si bean talaga ang nag pa excite sakin. [sic]”
