KSnaps Star Magical Prom 2024 Fairytale Outfits

The Star Magical Prom 2024 might be already over, but it seems that many still haven’t moved on from the memorable star-studded event that filled us with delight, surprise, magic, and kilig. But aside from the arresting makeup of the venue and the thrilling presences of our favorite young Star Magic artists, we were also enamored by how the attendees adhered to the fairytale theme of this year’s edition.

Let’s have another look on the fairytale-inspired attires of the stars we listed in this Kapamilya Snaps feature at the Star Magical Prom 2024!

Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan

It was probably quite expected that Belle would take on her namesake of the well-loved tale that is as old as time – “Beauty and the Beast.” She wore her relatively sexy version of the iconic yellow dress, which was designed by seasoned fashion designer Francis Libiran.

Her loveteam partner and Can’t Buy Me Love co-star, Donny, on the other hand, didn’t have a tinge of Beast in him because of how handsome he was in the full bespoke worsted wool glen check suit in navy blue created by Orias Studios. Of course, he didn’t forget to bring her the magical rose!

Alexa Ilacad

With how she looked absolutely ethereal in her modern interpretation of the “The Little Mermaid,” there’s no wonder that Alexa was hailed the “Prom Queen,” Fashion designer Ehrran Montoya indeed did a great job with her gown that showed off her sultry facet by strategically making some parts of it translucent. Her loveteam partner matched it by putting on a more formal take on Prince Eric’s suit during his wedding with Ariel.

In her interview with host AI Dela Cruz, the Pira-Pirasong Paraiso star disclosed that although her top favorite princess in Aurora of “Sleeping Beauty,” she opted to go with Ariel basically because she currently has red hair.

Esnyr Ranollo

The adored content creator got his mermaid fantasy came true when he showed up to the party in an eye-catching teal and purple ensemble made by fashion designer Axel Que. According to Esnyr, he took inspiration from Ariel the red-headed princess of the seas, but on another universe wherein he is her “queer twin”. He wrote in the caption of an Instagram post, “Beyond grateful for my team to come up with this dreamy and non-gender conforming look.”

BGYO

In their almost every appearance in special occasions of ABS-CBN, the five dashing and talented lads of BGYO make sure to always leave a great impression on the spectators. And for Star Magical Prom 2024, they coordinated their looks in fashionable ways to give fans “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.” Nate and Mikki transformed into the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man, respectively. Akira and JL were the Scarecrow and the dog Toto, while Gelo was none other than the lead character Dorothy.

Sophia Reola

Many were indeed surprised when the former child star who starred as Mikmik in Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit made her appearance to the prom after not seeing her on television for quite a long time. Sophia wore a stunning red ball gown and paired it with a purse that was shaped like a familiar cursed red apple. She confessed that it was actually a last-minute decision to take inspiration from Snow White, the first ever Disney Princess.

Francine Diaz

She’s definitely not named the “Best Dressed Lady” of the Star Magical Prom this year by Metro.Style for nothing, right. Everyone will certainly agree that Francine looked gorgeous in the modern Cinderella take by fashion designer Anthony Ramirez. The Dirty Linen actress wore a tiered soft blue ball gown with low scoop back and styled her crowning glory into a chic updo with wispy bangs inspired by the princess’ hairdo.

Maris Racal

Another actress to walk down the ivory carpet as the modern-day Cinderella was Maris. According to the Can’t Buy Me Love actress, the two-piece dress was a deconstructed take on the princess’ magical blue gown.

Mutya Orquia and Beaver Magtalas

If there’s a pair who really took the theme seriously, it would be Mutya and Beaver. From their kilig promposal up to the prom, they really brought Cinderella and Prince Charming to life.

Mutya sashayed in fashion designer Ryan Chris’ version of the famous blue gown, while Beaver was every inch a prince in his chosen ensemble, complete with a lace cravat and epaulettes.

Bianca de Vera

While others chose to stick to one concept, Bianca seemingly thought why not make it two? And she’s able to channel the Cinderella and Ariel in her, thanks to the creativity of fashion designer Lauren Vito, who came up with a fully embellished blue sweetheart gown that literally made her sparkle.

In her interview during the event, Bianca shared that those two princesses were her favorites growing up, so it was difficult for her to pick just one inspiration for her OOTN (or outfit of the night).

Which of these Star Magical Prom 2024 looks is/are your top favorite/s, Kapamilya?
