As Seth Fedelin matures as an actor, he’s becoming more open to changes, one of which is working with Francine Diaz as his new loveteam partner in the upcoming series “Dirty Linen” also starring Zanjoe Marudo and Janine Gutierrez.
In an episode of Hotspot with DJ Jhai Ho, Seth was honest to admit that it’s not easy dealing with the bad comments about his reel and real-life split-up with Andrea Brillantes. Like their fans, he didn’t see the SethDrea breakup coming. However, as an actor exploring his craft, he doesn’t want to be choosy about roles and the artists he’s going to work with, thus open to whatever the ABS-CBN management thinks would be best for his career.
“Still, nagtatrabaho po ako, eh. Trabaho ko ito at dito ako binabayaran. So, wala akong karapatan para [mag-reject]. Ilang artista na ‘yung pinagdaanan nila so dapat ibigay ‘yung tiwala,” he said.
Part of that trust is accepting that it’s time to work with a new on-screen partner, Francine, who was previously paired with Kyle Echarri. He’s just attuned to his career’s rhythm, believing that everything happens for a reason. “It is what it is.
Besides, he would rather focus on improving as an actor than relying solely on a loveteam, “In the end, ‘yung loveteam, oo, exciting ‘yan, masaya. Pero, in the end, siyempre trabaho natin ‘to at saka passion ko rin ‘to.
And he’s about to showcase that acting maturity via “Dirty Linen,” which he said has a more mature plot than their previous teleseryes. It revolves around lies, truth, justice, and revenge.
Seth was also asked his reaction to Andrea’s relationship with Ricci Rivero but he said he’s not in the position to talk about them. Besides, he feels nothing but happiness for his ex-love team partner, just looking at the good things he learned from their on- and off-screen relationship.
Seth reminded everyone to be careful with his or her words and asked respect for Andrea.
Apart from “Dirty Linen,” Seth also stars in the musical series “Lyric and Beat” with Andrea, Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, Jeremy G, Angela Ken, and Sheena Belarmino.
