The holiday season is arguably one of the most much-awaited periods of every year. This is when we get to take a break from work or school, spend time with our loved ones and friends who we haven’t seen or get to bond with for quite some time, or maybe even travel in a local destination or abroad. We may have different ways of celebrating it, but the best way would be spending it with the family.

Now that she’s a hands-on mom to the very adorable Bean, Angelica enthusiastically shared on Instagram that she and husband Gregg brought their daughter to an immersive “bluey experience” on Christmas Day, in which all of them had fun. And a few days later, they capped off year 2023 by ringing the wedding bells as she and Gregg finally tied the knot. Among those who were present in the intimate ceremony were her besties Bela Padilla and Kim Chiu.
Jhong Hilario
Together with his partner Maia and their unica hija Sarina, Jhong showed off the Yuletide spirit through their lovely family portrait. The family of three continued to create more fun and memorable memories in Japan where they welcomed 2024, as seen in the IG Reel posted by the It’s Showtime host.
Alexa Ilacad
Since her Mommy Divine’s birthday also falls on Christmas Day, the family of Alexa has double celebration every December 25. And last year, they seemed to have an intimate gathering, in which she also got to bond with her sister, brother-in-law, nieces, and their furbabies!
Then in another post, the Pira-Pirasong Paraiso star flaunted her New Year’s Eve outfit as she performed at a yearend countdown event in Quezon City.
Darren Espanto
Another Kapamilya celebrity who ended 2023 and started 2024 productively is Darren, who took part in a yearend shindig of a hotel in Pasay City. He made sure to usher the new year in style by wearing a sparkly red outfit.
A few days prior to that, the Can’t Buy Me Love actor filmed a TikTok a video with his younger sister Lynell and snapped a photo with his furbabies by the Christmas tree.
Kim Chiu
Instead of spending it at home, Kim and her family apparently agreed to celebrate Christmas in the picturesque Balesin Island. The Chinita Princess was also not home during the New Year as she flew to the United States to be reunited with her AngBeKi besties Angelica Panganiban and Bela Padilla. She was seen attending a New Year’s Eve party with friends and attending the wedding of Angelica.
Heaven Peralejo
Heaven was spotted with fellow Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 alumni Marco Gallo having a holly jolly Christmas Eve with him and her cat. This was followed by a serene beach getaway in Siargao to cap off 2023.
Jane De Leon
Her stunning presence is already a gift to her ardent fans, but Jane further treated them by uploading beautiful snaps of her during her fun Christmas Day photoshoot on social media. For New Year’s Eve, Jane shared photos of her with her Mommy Hearty and Kuya Francis holding sparklers.
Karina Bautista
There’s no doubt that Karina is among those who had the merriest Christmas and happiest New Year. The Can’t Buy Me Love actress delighted her followers as she shared pictures of her while exploring everything that New York City has to offer – from museums to churches. In another post, she imparted that her “new goal” for 2024 is “to be more present and really enjoy the moment.”
Sofia Andres
The family of Sofia is among those who opted to have a simple Christmas celebration at home with partner Daniel Miranda and their daughter Zoe. Nonetheless, they made sure to dress to the nines as they posed beside their huge and lustrous Christmas tree for their family picture. The lovely couple extended their quality time by going on a beach trip to welcome the New Year.

Just like the other celebrities in this list, Sarah was also at home bonding and opening gifts with her family and her kids Zion and Kai on the 25th of December. They then went on a holiday trip to Bohol, where they apparently welcomed 2024 as well. She captioned their set of photos, “a good year to have a good year.”
