Pilpinas Got Talent was one of the reality talent competitions that catered to all ages and all people from various walks of life, whether as audiences or as contestants.

And in this episode of PGT Rewind, let’s reminisce about the scene-stealing performances from three senior talents that truly stole our hearts and proved that age is definitely just a number.

Let’s start with Angelisa del Rosario, a 67-year-old grandma from Cebu City. The groovy old woman put on a neon pink sando and purple plaid skirt over her black body suit that she matched with a sparkling gold sun visor and hot pink sneakers. She brought with her a tray containing candies and coffee that she sold in order to show them.

She wowed everyone with her energetic dance number that included ‘kaldag.’ Judge Vice Ganda commented, “Talent ‘yan na malupit para sa nanay na katulad mo na 67 years old.”

For Judge Angel Locsin, Nanay Angelisa still had the most beautiful smile she’d ever seen even though she didn’t have teeth anymore. Meanwhile, Judge Freddie M. Garcia remarked that she was the good dancer that he had been looking for.

The second act was the G-Force All-Star Moms, a group of women between 50 to 57 years old from Silang, Cavite. According to them, “G-Force” actually meant “Gurang Force.” Dressed in pink and floral traditional Filipinianas that they topped off with fashionable pandan hats, the bevy danced the Filipino folk dance Cariñosa in the first part and surprised everyone when they instantly changed costume on the spot and went on to show off their hip-hop moves.

Last was Ernesto Chiudan, a 68-year-old drummer from Capas, Tarlac. He astonished everyone with his drumming skills, which left the judges cheering for him as soon as he finished his performance.

He was tagged by Angel as the “grooviest” that she’d ever seen on the stage of Pilipinas Got Talent. Judge Robin Padilla, meanwhile, regarded Tatay Ernesto as an inspiration and called him “petmalu, lodi.”

The Unkabogable Star went on to express how delighted she was that he’s still active and enjoying life despite his age. FMG also admired the “ragadag” or the talent that he exhibited.

Watch out for more remarkable performances and unforgettable contestants from past seasons of Pilipinas Got Talent in the next episodes of PGT Rewind!
