“Ito ang nagpapasaya sa aking life,” said Paulo Angeles as he introduced his baby: his Rebel Motorbike. The Kapamilya actor talks more about his motorbike hobby in this episode of Kapamilya Chat.
Paulo has always been interested in motorcycles. This grew more through the influence of friends especially Director Ludwig Peralta, “Gusto ko na dati pero mas nahiligan ko noon dahil kay Direk Ludwig. Sa first ko na Ipaglaban Mo, napag-usapan namin ‘yung motor.”
At that time, he wasn’t yet allowed to have his motorbike until his good friend and Kapamilya star Karl Gabriel got his own. Paulo became more determined to convince his parents to allow him to have his own motorcycle, which he eventually got around June last year.
Paulo enjoys road trips with his buddies like Karl and fellow Hashtag member Ryle Santiago but he also goes solo sometimes. They usually travel to Antipolo while the longest he had was to Subic.
Asked about the advantage of driving a motorbike, Paulo said, “Madali sa traffic. Nakaka-relax.”
As tips to fellow enthusiasts, Paulo shared, “Lagi lang eyes on the road tapos gear at saka siyempre huwag kang magyabang sa kalye kasi doon ka maaksidente talaga. And enjoy the ride.”
Paulo dreams to ride with Jericho Rosales, saying, “Ang daming motor nu’n, eh.” He’s impressed with Tom Hardy’s motorbike as well.
Paulo also thought about the best place for a motorbike adventure, “Noong nag-States ako, doon ko nakita na ang sarap mag-ride doon kasi ang luwag ng daan, anytime of the day. Dito, pagdating mo sa pupuntahan mo, pawis ka na. Sa States, parang ang bibilis ng kotse at motor. ‘Tsaka hindi sila nahihirapan sa traffic.”
