Teleserye lovers are buzzing with bigger anticipation for their next daily dose of drama.

Ever since Dreamscape Entertainment released the teaser for "Lavender Fields," topbilled by Jodi Sta. Maria, fans have been eagerly speculating about the series. They started guessing who the other cast members might be and wondering if the plot would be as mind-boggling as the production outfit's past hits.

Everyone’s been fishing for little clues about this show, which is dubbed the grandest serye of the year. And true enough, we’ve gathered some noteworthy details from behind-the-scenes footage of the announcement shoot, script reading, and social media posts.

The recent media release for the project featured a look test video, giving us a sneak peek at how the characters will look. Ready for a glimpse?

We're super intrigued by the plot of this multi-genre masterpiece. The look test, while cleverly edited to keep the story's core under wraps, gives us some juicy hints about the conflict involving Jodi, Jericho Rosales, and Janine Gutierrez's characters. Jodi is dressed with power, exuding fierceness and grace.

And we see Janine in what appears like a bridal dress, while Jericho seems to be suited up for a wedding as well. The three of them come together for some group shots, sparking even more curiosity about their characters' relationships.

In another layout, Janine switches it up with quite skin-revealing outfits that scream "power woman." This is a total detour from her previous role as Alexa/Mila in “Dirty Linen.”

Jolina Magdangal, making her grand comeback in a Kapamilya teleserye, showcased a whole new side of herself during the pictorial. Meanwhile, drama icons Albert Martinez, Maricel Soriano, and Edu Manzano are also featured in striking shots that keep us seated for what they'll serve up in the series.

The new-gen stars Krystal Mejes, Miguel Vergara, Marc Santiago, and Jana Agoncillo are sure to bring something fresh to our screens. We can already sense the contrast between Krystal and Jana’s roles– Krystal channels a ‘mean girl’ vibe with her styling, while Jana looks every bit the sweet girl.

Janine’s mom, Lotlot de Leon, will have a special role in the show. Judging by her outfit, she’s portraying a character who may not be well-off but has a kind heart.

Also returning to a Kapamilya teleserye is '90s heartthrob Biboy Ramirez, whose role appears to be part of the upper echelons of society. Similarly, Bernard Palanca adds mystery, and it’s worth noting that the way his image was presented quite echoes that of Albert.

If the paired shots are anything to go by, it looks like the characters played by Bernard and Pamu Pamurada; Miguel and Justine Luzares; Maricel, Cheena Crab, and Benj Manalo; Jolina and Biboy are intertwined in some intriguing way. Could we be in for a Jolina-Biboy storyline? That's got us excited!

“Lavender Fields” is directed by Emmanuel Palo and Jojo Saguin, and written by Maribel Ilag. Based on the teasers, the production is aiming for a 2024 release.
