Kapamilya Snaps Actors’ First IG Post

Arguably, unlike girls, guys are not keen on sharing much of their private lives, especially on social media. But that seems to be not really the case for celebrities, since this is their way of interacting with their fans, as well as promoting their projects and/or brands they endorse.

For sure, some of them have already uploaded hundreds (or even thousands) of photos and videos on Instagram. And just in case you're wondering what their oldest posts were in the 10-year-old social media app, we got you covered! Simply read on and watch this Kapamilya Snaps feature for you to find out!

If there are two things that Piolo Pascual loves the most, it would probably be his family and nature. Thus, the My Papa Pi leading man posted a candid shot of him marveling at the splendor of nature, as well separate photos of him with his unico hijo Inigo Pascual and his sister-slash-best friend Pat Herzig, who she fondly calls Bubu, when he launched his IG account on March 18, 2014.

Joshua Garcia apparently first uploaded a photo on the very last day of 2016, wherein he could be seen cooking something that was perhaps part of their media noche. It took the Viral Scandal actor weeks to follow up that post, sharing an outtake from one of his photoshoots in January 2017, then a black-and-white group shot with his The Greatest Love family in March 2017.

Enrique Gil been on Instagram since 2014, but after his account got allegedly hacked in 2016,

all the photos he shared from within those years were wiped out. Nonetheless, that didn’t stop him from imparting his personal life to his fans as soon as he retrieved his account. On September 15 of that same year, the Kapamilya heartthrob uploaded pictures taken during their family trip in the United States.

Admired for his being family-oriented, Donny Pangilinan’s first-ever IG post was a group shot with his siblings Ella, Hannah, and Benj, dated December 20, 2019. On Christmas Day, the He’s Into Her actor then greeted his followers “Maligayang Pasko!!!!” by uploading a portrait of him while standing in front of their Christmas tree and smiling to the camera. He kicked off 2020 by sharing a solo picture of him taken at the famous Jeju Island in South Korea, where the Kapamilya reality travel show “Aja! Aja! Tayo Sa Jeju!”, which he hosted alongside Shine Kuk, Kristel Fulgar, and Robi Domingo, was filmed.

His He’s Into Her co-star Joao Constancia debuted on IG by sharing a candid photo of him to mark his 21st birthday on December 23, 2017. It was succeeded by a throwback photo of him taken in Thailand in 2015 that he uploaded in March 2018 and an aesthetic shot of him while sitting on a bathroom sink around a month after.

Meanwhile, his fellow ASAP Natin ‘To mainstay Enchong Dee’s first-ever post happened in 2012 when he shared his throwback photo with American RnB singer-songwriter Ne-Yo back in 2008. The following year, he uploaded his photo with Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth, who visited the Philippines for an event organized by a local clothing brand in which they were both ambassadors. And in 2015, he posted a collage of his stolen shots captured during his live performance for MOR101.9 Awards.

Their fellow regular performer Ronnie Alonte surprised fans when he deleted all the photos on his feed in 2020, except for one – a picture of him and on-an-off-screen sweetheart Loisa Andalio holding hands while walking towards a huge house. Two days later, he posted a solo panoramic shot of him with a beautifulview as his background. After more than a week, the Love In 40 Days leading man uploaded a shot of him taking a swig of an unknown beverage from a green bottle.

Another mainstay of the musical variety program, Jameson Blake, has seemed to be on IG since 2013 – two years prior to his Pinoy Big Brother 737 stint. His first-ever post was a photo of him and his brother back in Hong Kong, which was followed by a collage of his cute baby pictures and of his snaps with little sister Abigail while cladded in formal Filipino attires.

His A Family Affair co-actor Gerald Anderson, on the other hand, began to share his personal life on social media in 2012, starting off with a photo of him during a “magic moment” that took place on October 15. The following day, he shared an adorable snap of him with a koala bear when he was still in Australia, as well as a stolen photo of him during his martial arts training.

Carlo Aquino may have been in the industry ever since he was still a kid decades ago, yet he doesn’t let himself be left behind in the latest trends. The How To Move On In 30 Days lead actor opened his account a year after the photo and video-sharing app was launched, and began by posting cute snaps of his pet dog and cat. He then opened the year 2012 by gifting his fans with a pool selfie.

Meanwhile, his co-star Albie Casiño immediately treated his fans by flexing his well-chiseled abs in the first two photos that he uploaded on IG in 2013. He then unleashed the “cool” kid in him by posting a random shot of the glass ceiling that he took.

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor Richard Gutierrez marked his entrance to the social networking site in 2012 by posting a handsome selfie of him while smiling ear-to-ear to the camera after his documentary show won at the Monte Carlo Film Festival. It was followed by his sweet snaps with his then-girlfriend (and now wife!) Sarah Lahbati.

The Broken Marriage Vow leading man Zanjoe Marudo also joined IG in 2012, starting off with a candid photo of him that he captioned: “ang init!”. It was succeeded by a picture of him with his Banana Split family, fondly called “Bananakada,”as well as a collage of their photos while asleep at their shuttle service.

Paulo Avelino, on the other hand, has been on IG since 2014. As a doting dad, he dedicated his first-ever post to his beloved son Aki. A few weeks later, he shared a black-and-white selfie of him wearing a beanie and reposted a random shoe-fie (or image of a pair of shoes).

Last, but definitely not the least, is Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, who marked his debut on the social media app in 2012 with a model-esque photo of him that he aptly captioned: “First photo i posted on Instagram.” The It’s Showtime host further unleashed the model in him by sharing an outtake from the photoshoot of his blockbuster hit film “Sisterakas”. He then felt like a muse when sandwiched between then-UAAP star players Keifer Ravena and Jeron Teng during their photo-op in one of the episodes of his former talk show Gandang Gabi Vice.
