Kapamilya Snaps: What do Kapamilya stars keep inside their bags? Part 2!

It is said that in order for us to get to know a person, we must observe the physical makeup of their homes and how they usually dress up because these definitely reflect someone’s personality.

However, ABS-CBN Entertainment found a way for us to become more acquainted with some of our favorite celebrities in the recent years – through the bag raids did by well-known headwriter-slash-host Darla Sauler in the online show PUSH Now Na!

We already featured some of our Kapamilya artists in a prior bag raid compilation, and just in case you’re still yearning for more, here’s the second wave of celebrity bag raids that will surely delight you, or even surprise you because of the interesting stuff they usually bring along with them almost every day!

Kapamilya Snaps: Take a peek on our favorite celebs’ daily must-haves in these bag raids!

Her handbag may appear small, but Alex Gonzaga could actually fit a lot of stuff in it, which included a rare two-dollar bill that her aunt gave her and a posh comb that she slid in its own pouch.

On the other hand, her older sister Toni Gonzaga prefers to use travel backpacks. Apart from the usual must-haves of moms like her, she also brought with her double adhesive tapes, fabric tapes, baby cologne, gift tags for those on-the-spot gift-giving, a “heavy-duty comb” from Alex, and little notes she received from her husband Paul Soriano.

Just like Toni, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal also opts to use backpacks, such as the one given by her beloved hubby JC Intal. But hers was comparably small and lighter as she only brought few items with her, with a toilet seat cover, a snack, and an extra pair of socks as the most interesting finds.

Their another co-host Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla proved that she’s indeed the epitome of an on-the-go mom as she surprised us with the random things stuffed in her trusty convertible bag – adhesive bandages and foot blisters plaster, camera batteries, gloves, socks, jewelry, and her daughter Isabella’s toddler class cards, cute heart-shaped shades, and hair clips.

Darla had the chance to raid the bags of Magandang Buhay momshies in 2017, when Melai Cantiveros was still pregnant with her second child. Thus, we were amused to see a measuring tape and an apparatus in her handbag that she used in monitoring the baby inside her womb. We also spotted a broken piece of her daughter Mela’s toy that she accidentally broke and hid in one of her pouches so that her family would not know about it.

While Karla Estrada also had a lot of stuff in her shoulder bag – such as a bag of dental flosses, her iTouch where she stores the minus-ones of the songs she usually sings, and fancy ballpens – Jolina Magdangal only had a few in her cute sling bag, including her housekeys with a toy burger keychain and glittery wallet.

As they astound us every Sunday with their performances on ASAP Natin ‘To, Moira Dela Torre, KZ Tandingan, Angeline Quinto, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Zsa Zsa Padilla surprised us as well with some of the stuff we found inside their luxurious designer bags.

Among Moira’s must-haves were a water bottle, in-ear monitor, pencil case and journal for her songwriting sessions, and iPad that she used in practicing calligraphy and reading her e-books. On the day of their bag raids, both Angeline and KZ brought with them copies of their respective albums, along with a pouch containing rosaries, scapulars, and healing oils for the “Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs” and small medicine box and a special card holder for the Soul Supremacy.

Meanwhile, apart from their basic necessities, the Asia’s Songbird had a posh scarf, nose decongestant, religious necklace, and handmade card from her son Nate in her handbag, while the Divine Diva brought a copy of the Kevin Kwan novel “China Rich Girlfriend”, in-ear monitors, and a whistle with compass.

Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin stars Iza Calzado-Wintle and Maricel Soriano both use shoulder bags which contained all their daily essentials, including iPad, Kindle, and cord organizer for Iza, while abaniko, dry shampoo, mini disinfectant spray, and rosary she brought from Rome are omnipresent in the Diamond Star’s checklist.

Beauty queens Maxine Medina and Kylie Versoza are apparently both fond of small yet versatile bags wherein they could put all their must-haves. While Maxine usually brings a makeup kit with her since she always wants to apply contour on her face, Kylie could go out almost barefaced and with just a few stashes in her bag like hand sanitizer and cheek tint.

Even though they’re almost the same age, we could easily notice the obvious differences between Sofia Andres and Jane Oineza when it comes to the bags they used and the stuff they put into it. Sofia is a self-confessed backpack girl who’s used in bringing only a few items in her cute little bag, while Jane is apparently the on-the-go type as she kept a journal, a highlighter, pencils, and her passport that she often uses as a valid ID.

Lastly, seasoned actresses Vina Morales and Ruffa Gutierrez showed in their respective bag raids how “mom bags” could be versatile and fashionable at the same time. Her handbag may be small, but the singer-actress was still able to store everything she needs, as well as a CD of her minus ones, in a day at work in her bag with the help of her trusty organizer! The same went for the Love Thy Woman actress whose beach bag also held her and her family’s passports (since she’s about to book their trip to Australia then) and the elegant gift she received from her longtime friend Karla Estrada.

Noticeably, among the common staples we spotted in the bags of these celebrities were shades, phones, phone accessories, kikay and sanitary kits, ballpens, hair clips and ties, essential oils, throat sprays, checkbooks, vitamins and medicines, various kinds of candies, and wallets containing some money, different types of cards, ID pictures of their loved ones, receipts, and their ABS-CBN access card.

What about you, Kapamilya? What are the surprising items or essentials that can be found in your bag?
