Getting to build or buy a house is definitely everyone’s ultimate goal in life. While others are blessed to own a house as they grew up, some have to work hard in order to attain that dream for their family. In addition, some wants to build their own homes as an investment or as a fulfillment of their vision to have their own personal space.
While some of us still have this aspiration in our heads, there are others who are already on their way of achieving it as the construction of their dream homes are currently in full swing. Kathryn Bernardo
As she turned 24 in 2020, Kathryn marked it by having the groundbreaking of her dream home. She posted a photo of her standing at an empty lot in an undisclosed location, which she captioned: “Dreams do come true! Welcoming my birthday this year with one of the greatest gifts I could possibly ask for: my family’s dream house. It was a special day for all of us as the construction of our future home officially began.”
And in January 2022, Kathryn posted a carousel of snaps and clips taken during their family’s site visit, in which she was seen trying her hand on mixing cement. In another set of photos, she teased about the “final push” being done to their family home, to which their family – and even her two furbabies – are excited about.
Donny Pangilinan
Their happy and lovable family may already have a huge home, but it didn’t stop Donny from craving for a space of his own. Thus, in March 2022, he finally made his personal dream come true by beginning the construction of “Casa Donato.” Six months after the groundbreaking ceremony, Donny posted an update, revealing that they’re almost there.
Belle Mariano
Like her loveteam partner, Belle has also begun working on her dream home, as she posted a photo of her leading the groundbreaking ceremony alongside some of her family members. She captioned it: “Still pinching myself! Dreams really do come true! I share this humbling moment to all of you who walked with me in this journey.”
Sofia Andres
In October 2022, Sofia shared snaps from the groundbreaking ceremony of her family’s second home, which was attended by her beloved family, including her daughter Zoe, as well as the staff of the architectural firm assigned to do the Andres Residence. They also had the lot blessed by a priest and even buried a gold tube canister.
The The Iron Heart actress captioned the post: “Thank Lord God for always keeping me on the right track & for guiding me every step of the way.”
Ryza Cenon
After renting for a long time, Ryza and her partner Miguel Antonio Cruz finally started building their family’s home in November 2022. She shared a few snaps captured from the groundbreaking ceremony, in which their son Night joined them.
And last February, the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actress gave fans an update on Instagram by uploading a carousel of photos of the on-going construction of their soon-to-be abode and wrote, “Wala pa tayo sa exciting part! Yung mamili ng mga gamit sa bahay.”
Karina Bautista
She may just be on her fourth year in showbiz, but Karina has already marked another major milestone in her life. In November 2022, she revealed in a YouTube video the fruit of her labor and sacrifices – a residential lot in Tagaytay.
Karina couldn’t help but get emotional as she proudly showed off the lot she bought and envisioned her future house. She uttered: “At the age of 20 years old, may napupuntahan ‘yung pinagpapaguran ko at pinagtra-trabahuan ko.”
Sharon Cuneta
After decades of working hard, Sharon and husband, former Senator Kiko Pangilinan, have been building their family’s “mega mansion” for years now. She initially gave us a sneak peek in April 2021 through an IG post, in which she expounded that there will be a main family home and a separate wing that’s going to be her “She Cave.” It will house her “books, clothes, studio for vlogs, maybe a small recording studio, dressing room, etc.”
The structure will also have a basement parking and a massive space for their pool, garden, and a for the rooms of some of their dogs. Furthermore, the Megastar imparted (written as is), “For those asking, the total floor area of our home will be about 2,300 sqm. built across 5 lots (total lot area more or less 3,000 sqm.), scaled down from the original plan of 3,500 sqm. floor area, not including the pool, poolhouse and doghouse of course.”
