Scrolling through our social media feeds, we have certainly spotted photos and videos of celebrities looking hot in their swimsuits as they go to the beach in the previous months. However, there are some who do more than take aesthetic pictures and enjoy swimming and basking in the sun, as they also have fun riding the waves through their trusty surfboards.

Heaven declared herself a “surf addict” as she posted photos of her surfing session during her vacation in Siargao in October 2021. She once again braved the waves when she returned to the island in September 2022. Heaven explained in another Instagram post that this sport has taught her to just live life like she’s riding the waves.

Andrea Brillantes

For sure, many of us are dreaming to work and play at the same time, right? While it’s impossible for some of us, Andrea was able to do it last year when she became part of the Star Magic Hot Summer in Baler. Aside from being able to explore the said beautiful town of Aurora together with her fellow Star Magic artists, she got to try surfing for the first time, too.

Nadine Lustre

With how she consistently graces our IG feeds with aesthetic snaps of her in pretty and alluring swimsuits, as well as of her island adventures here and abroad, there’s no doubt that Nadine is the epitome of what a true beach babe is. In the recent years, we’ve witnessed her exploring life off the spotlight and trying out different activities. And these includes surfing, which she probably learned during her sojourn in Siargao.

Maris Racal

It was also during a trip to Siargao in 2018 when Maris was able to got on a surfboard for the first time. And she seemed to be a fast learner as she’s able to already balance herself and even strike a pose to the camera just on her first try. Since then, it appears that she’s been confident in riding the waves as she was pictured chilling on a surfboard while on water during one of her trips to La Union.

Vivoree Esclito

From being that timid girl in Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7, we’ve witnessed how Vivoree has grown more confident with herself. And she’s able to show it through the projects she did in the past years, her social media uploads, and how she’s able to brave the waves of Elyu when she tried out surfing for the first time during her vacation there last April.

She posted a reel of that remarkable moment and captioned it: “another check off my bucket list (check emoji) can’t wait to do this again. will defo come back. here’s to more adventures!!! [sic]”

Chie Filomeno

Being one of the hottest stars in the country at present, Chie indeed never fails to wow us with her sexy snaps, especially when she’s in her bikinis. But wait ‘til you see her gorgeous snaps while riding a surfboard as these prove that she can definitely slay on the rumbling waves.

 Kira Balinger

Just like Andrea, Kira also first put her surfing skills to the test while they were in Aurora for the filming of Star Magic Hot Summer in Baler last year. She might have a hard time balancing herself on the surfboard at the beginning, but that’s fine since it was her first time.

“After the shoot and interviews, I went straight to the beach! My whole backside is burnt but it was totally worth it,” she revealed about the experience. And about two months later, she once again had a surfing session during her beach getaway last June.

Sarah Lahbati

She may be already a mom, but that didn’t stop Sarah from trying different strenuous activities, from riding dirt bikes to riding waves. Those who have been following her on IG certainly know that she and her family with The Iron Heart lead star Richard Gutierrez are certified ocean-lovers. So, aside from swimming and diving, they’ve also unsurprisingly tried surfing.

Bela Padilla

As a certified go-getter, Bela knows exactly how to have fun. Aside from spending time with family, friends, and other loved ones, the actress-filmmaker also enjoys taking on different adventures, including surfing, to which she has also fallen in love with.

Julia Barretto

Despite her busy schedule, Julia has still managed to live an adventurous lifestyle, which allows her to develop a variety of skills, such as surfing. In 2018, she celebrated her birthday by riding the waves of Siargao.

Anne Curtis

Another certified go-getter girl is Anne, who has been so unstoppable in taking on different adventures even now that she’s already a mommy. While she usually goes on hikes and beach getaway with her husband Erwan Heusaff and their daughter Dahlia at present, she actually used to try surfing many years ago.

In a past IG post, the It’s Showtime mainstay disclosed that she did it for the first time in 2012 when she visited Siargao. She rode the waves again upon her return in 2017, which got her “so stoked!”

Andi Eigenmann

Last, but definitely not the least, is Andi, who, as we all know, has been having the time of her life in paradise. From being a mere tourist several years ago, she went on to become a local when she decided to stay in Siargao for good with her fiancé, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, and their kids.

Since she’s in the “Surfing Capital of the Philippines” and has a professional surfer as partner, it’s not surprising that Andi has become a good surfer, too! She wrote in an IG post: “still always trying to improve and learn new things each time, which makes this sport so exciting."
