Every year, we have Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Grandparents Day. But what about Aunt and Uncle’s Day? While it’s being actually celebrated in the US every July 26, we obviously don’t do the same here in the Philippines.
Since that’s the case, let’s dedicate this day (although unofficial and only here in ABS-CBN Entertainment!) to our beloved uncles and aunties who we also definitely look up to throughout our lives and have extremely filled our lives with fun, laughter, love, and incredible memories as well.

Now that they’ve been playing parental roles in the teleseryes and films they starred in, there’s definitely no wonder how Coco Martin, Sam Milby, Kim Chiu, Zanjoe Marudo, and Shaina Magdayao are nailing those despite not having a child of their own yet in real life. It’s because they have nieces and nephews to look after to!
Coco apparently loves children for he’s surrounded by them both in the set of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, wherein his character Cardo fosters a number of kids, and at his home as his nieces and nephews live with him. The same goes for the Love Thy Woman lead actress who definitely always look forward to coming home from an exhausting day at work to take her dose of happy pills – her pamangkins!
As his Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin character Gabriel Villarosa is currently torn between his two children to two different women, Sam probably miss bonding with his “goofy little ones” Tala and Lona. Shaina perhaps feels the same way, too, towards her pretty nieces as she usually gets to spend quality time with them during special occasions in their family.
The entire quarantine seemingly hasn’t been boring at all for Zanjoe as he got to bond with his nieces and nephews during his stay in Batangas and get busy with his latest teleserye Walang Hanggang Paalam.
