In September 2017, photos of Erich during a hiking trip in Mt. Batolusong in Tanay, Rizal went viral online as she remained mesmerizingly glowing despite being sweaty and exhausted after the climb.

The Kapamilya actress seemingly enjoyed it and even invited her celebrity friend Janella Salvador and their other pals to go up Mt. Balagbag in Rodriguez, Rizal the following year. Her exhilaration was evident in the two photos of her that she posted on Instagram and captioned one, “in my happy place, reminding me of what's important”.

Being adventure junkies that they both are, Anne and husband Erwan flew to Africa in 2018 to have their long overdue honeymoon – a year after their rustic garden wedding in New Zealand in 2017. The couple delighted their followers as they shared some snaps and clips they captured during their safari tour and hike on Lions Head Mountain in Capetown, South Africa.

But even prior to that wonderful trip, the two have been conquering mountains together, such as the El Chalten in Argentina in 2016.

She wouldn’t be called a real-life Darna for nothing. Apart from showing her strength in facing the challenges in life, Angel also displayed her might in conquering several mountains in the past years.

In 2016, she ended the year by hiking the adjacent mountains of Mt. Cayabu and Mt. Maynoba both in Tanay, Rizal – which are known for being beginner-friendly and the staggering eight waterfalls that Mt. Maynoba showcases – along with her friends.

And she obviously enjoyed being in her element as she seemed to climb different mountains in consecutive days. Just on the second day of 2017, she posted a photo of her atop Mt. Maculot-Rockies in Cuenca, Batangas. The following day, she wowed followers when she was seen at one of the summits of Mt. Pamitinan in Rodriguez, Rizal, which – according to her – was already her “4th mountain in 3 weeks”.

In 2018, she reminded her followers to “Wander often. Wonder always” as she posed for a snap at the Marlboro Country in Sagada, Mountain Province.

Another actress who’s always enthusiastic in trying out different activities is Kim, who has already joined various athletic events and explored different places in the past years.

While others opt to hit the beach or stay at home during Holy Week, the It’s Showtime host and her beloved boyfriend Xian went on a hiking trip in Bukhansan Mountain during their vacation in South Korea in 2018.

She’s known as one of the fiercest actresses in the industry, and Angelica was also able to display that during her and bestie Glaiza de Castro’s hiking adventure in Tiger’s Nest in Bhutan.

The proud first-timer shared their exhausting yet fulfilling journey on IG by posting photos and chronicling in the caption how she made it despite only having one foot that was “willing and able”.

“…Habang umaakyat ako, naiiyak na ko. Iniisip ko, bakit ko ba ‘to ginagawa? Nanginginig na ‘yong isa kong binti dahil pilay ‘yong kanan kong paa. Umulan pa ng paulit-ulit. Pero wala e, napasubo na ko e. Nandyan na ‘yan. At ang pinaka-malupit, naunahan ko pa ang mga guide at ‘yong kaibigan kong wala naman pilay. Puro harot kasi. Malupit! Malupit ka, Bhutan!” she wrote.

Nevertheless, Angelica looks forward to “more mountains, adventures and sunrises”.

Barbie also enjoyed her escapade in Mt. Batolusong in 2019, as seen in the two gorgeous selfies she posted on IG. In another photo, she was seen on the rocky peak of the said mountain and captioned it, “I love places that make me realise how tiny you and your problems are.”
