For many couples, the journey to forever starts on the day that they get married. While some are already okay to hold one ceremony, there are others who exchanged “I dos” more than once due to various reasons. Among them are the celebrities we listed in this Kapamilya Snaps feature, who tied the knot at least twice in recent years.
Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola
Avid followers of the adorable Manzano fam were indeed stoked upon learning that Luis and Jessy finally fulfilled their dream of having a church wedding this February. In the latest vlog uploaded by the I Can See Your Voice host on his YouTube channel, he imparted that they got married twice in Palawan – first at a chapel, then at the beach.
Making the ceremonies extra special is the presence of Jessy’s family, who wasn’t able to attend their private civil ceremony held in Batangas in February 2021, as well as of their cherished daughter Isabella Rose, who had special participation as the “little bride”.
KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde
Five years after they officially became a couple, KZ and TJ got married in 2020. They announced their marriage through the music video of their song “Can’t Wait To Say I Do,” which was uploaded on the Asia’s Soul Supreme in October of that year. However, the couple disclosed that the actual ceremony took place earlier in August.
On their third wedding anniversary in August 2023, the two celebrated it by renewing their vows through an intimate garden wedding ceremony attended by 30 guests. It was the The Voice Teens coach and her beloved musician-spouse’s way of honoring their parents who weren’t able to attend the first.
Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez
From exes, Maja and Rambo have gone on to become lifetime partners after they exchanged vows not just once, but twice! Prior to their star-studded holy matrimony held at a 5-star resort in Bali, Indonesia in July 2023, the couple revealed that they actually had a secret civil ceremony held on Valentine’s Day 2023 – just in time for their fourth anniversary.
JC de Vera and Rikkah Cruz
Although we’re aware that JC was already in a relationship with his non-showbiz sweetheart Rikkah, it was only in March 2021 when the actor divulged through his exclusive interview in one of the vlogs of his La Vida Lena co-star Erich Gonzales that they were already married since 2018.
Three years after their private civil ceremony, the couple went all out for their dream church wedding in September 2021 held at San Antonio de Padua Church in Cavite.
John Prats and Isabel Oli
Apart from saying “I dos” twice on the same day in May 2015, another thing that amazed us about the nuptials of John and Isabel was how they were able to pull off a four-season-inspired grand event held in Batangas.
They had a winter-themed church wedding in the morning, which was followed by a summer-themed lunch. Meanwhile, their Christian wedding rite later that day was spring-themed, which was succeeded by an autumn-themed reception for the dinner.
Trina Legaspi and Ryan Jarina
From being one of the OG cast of Goin’ Bulilit, Trina is now a loving wife to her non-showbiz husband Ryan, to whom she’s been married since November 2021. And a year after their star-studded church ceremony, the couple marked their paper anniversary by tying the knot for the second time in November 2022.
It was their way of honoring the memory and fulfilling the request of Ryan’s late grandparents for them to marry in Christ the King Parish in Green Meadows, Quezon City. They had a gender reveal reception after their wedding.
Ritz Azul and Allan Guy
After years of being together, Ritz and her non-showbiz hubby Allan tied the knot not just once, but twice in 2021. They first got married in Baguio City in November, with the mountains of the Cordilleras serving as the breathtaking backdrop. A few weeks later, the couple had their second ceremony in December, which was held at the fine, white sand beaches of Palawan.
Neri Naig and Chito Miranda
In December 2014, Neri and Chito had two nuptials held in two consecutive days. They had a simple civil ceremony on Day 1, which was succeeded by a grander garden wedding in Tagaytay City that was attended by their respective families and some of their closest friends in showbiz.
Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico
Since they were born in two different countries, Solenn and Nico tied the knot twice. They had a private civil wedding in 2015 held in his home country Argentina, then an elegant and joyous destination wedding in Combourg, France, where Solenn’s paternal family is from, in 2016.
Bangs Garcia and Lloydi Birchmore
While the aforementioned pairs exchanged vows twice, Bangs and her non-showbiz husband Lloydi did it thrice! The first was a civil ceremony held in September 2016 in London, England, where their family is currently based. In January 2017, the couple had an indoor church wedding and then an outdoor beach ceremony the next day, which were both held in Boracay.
