Despite the dreadful threat of the COVID-19 virus and the restrictions it ensued, there’s indeed no stopping us from celebrating Valentine’s Day this year. Many of us had still managed to go on dates and pull off fantastic and heartwarming surprises for their special someone, family, friends, and other loved ones.

They may be in their respective locked-in tapings, but this didn’t serve as a hindrance for the beloved husbands of Magandang Buhay momshie-host Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin star Iza Calzado to make them feel their sweetness and devotion by sending them gorgeous bouquets of flowers. Jason Francisco sent a bunch of roses with a note that read: “The flower is really beautiful and lovely just like you” to Melai, while Ben Wintle had a pretty flower arrangement delivered to Iza.
Young actresses Loisa Andalio and Sue Ramirez also received sprays of dainty flowers from their handsome boyfriends Ronnie Alonte and Javi Benitez, respectively. From receiving a shiny engagement ring from her fiancé, I Can See Your Voice host Luis Manzano, beautiful actress Jessy Mendiola got a lovely bouquet for Valentine’s Day with a handwritten note saying, “I cannot wait to marry you”.
Meanwhile, sweetheart Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil and Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo both had a wonderful and romantic time together last Valentine’s Day as they both went on candle-lit dinners. While LizQuen were able to celebrate by themselves, Juday and Ryan shared the evening with their adorable kids Yohan, Lucho, and Luna who cooked the sumptuous food they feasted on.
At the same time, there were also couples who opted to go on a trip to celebrate the special occasion. Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia went on an awesome road trip around the city using his new luxury car, while It’s Showtime mainstays Vice Ganda and Ion Perez had a fun date on a yacht
Lovebirds Jake Cuenca and Kylie Versoza, Xian Lim and Kim Chiu, and Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia (with their Baby Amari!) all chose to have their respective romantic getaways in Palawan. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and her jet-setter boyfie Jeremy Jauncey, on the other hand, travelled to Marrakesh, Morocco.
