Kapamilya Snaps: Spooky, bewitching Halloween transformations of our favorite Kapamilya love teams!

Halloween is just around the corner! However, we wouldn’t be able to celebrate it flamboyantly just like we used to in the previous years since we’re all encouraged to stay at home and save up our resources due to the pandemic.

But just in case you and your family, friends, or colleagues are planning to still push through with this traditional shindig by holding it virtually and you haven’t decided yet what to pull on, then you might want to check out the spooky and bewitching transformations of some of our favorite Kapamilya love teams in the past Halloweens featured in this episode of Kapamilya Snaps for some inspiration!

The General’s Daughter cast members Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte may have arrived in last year’s Star Magic Black Magic party in non-complementing costumes – as she donned a slick Cat Woman suit while he kept things simple with a suit and red contact lenses for a vampire look – but they still didn’t fail to charm us with their natural chemistry.

The same went for Love Thy Woman stars Kim Chiu and Xian Lim who slayed the black carpet as a drop-dead gorgeous mummy and the legendary Count Dracula, respectively.

Before gracing the Black Magic gathering in their “One Punch Man”-inspired outfits last year as Saitama and Genos, which bestowed them the Black Magic 2019’s Most Creative Costume Award, the ever-adorable MayWard tandem freaked us out in 2018 when they dressed up as two of the scariest dolls in movie history. Both of them looked peculiarly cute as Maymay Entrata transformed into the haunted doll Annabelle while Edward Barber into the serial killer doll Chucky.

Also bagging an award from the said event was KathNiel, who took home the Black Magic 2019’s Best in Costume because of their head-turning ensembles. The King of Hearts Daniel Padilla indeed turned everyone’s heads as The Eye, with his face fully-painted in sugar skull underneath and his body cladded in a dapper suit and tie, while his queen Kathryn Bernardo stunned us as the comic book villainess Poison Ivy.

Last, but definitely not the least, is the LizQuen loveteam who has consistently dominated Halloween with their truly creative and mind-blowing transformations in the past two years. In 2018, Liza Soberano mesmerized us in her Pennywise-inspired costume while Enrique Gil charmed us as Joker. The following year, the couple opted to bring laughter instead of fright to everyone attending the Black Magic 2019 party as they arrived as sisters Tiffany and Britanny Wilson from the iconic Hollywood comedy flick “White Chicks”, which easily gave them the Best Couple Costume award.

Parties may be cancelled this year, but don’t let the terrifying virus spoil the fun and stop you from having Trick or Treat with your loved ones while at the comforts of our homes. So, Kapamilya, whose Halloween costume do you want to try pulling on?
