In March 2020, we witnessed how the world started to slow down due to the COVID-19 pandemic it. Lockdowns were implemented, hindering us from going outside to do our usual routines and to travel in pursuit of controlling the spread of the virus.
Being at home most of the time had indeed made us develop the so-called “travel itch,” which is the feeling of wanting or craving to move and travel. Thus, as soon as travel restrictions eased up, many of us got excited to explore different destinations anew, including some Kapamilya stars who took the opportunity to visit other countries.

The Dirty Linen star was indeed thrilled when she had the chance to go back to The Big Apple after two years, just in time for the Halloween festivities. She apparently attended two different parties, in which she channeled the inner Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa in her by dressing up as them, as well enjoyed it with her friends and younger sister Max. Of course, Janine made sure to explore New York City and eat sumptuous food.
Lovi Poe had her vacation in California, USA in October 2020
Just a few months after the travel restrictions relaxed a bit in 2020, Lovi didn’t pass up the opportunity to go back to California and have her much-awaited vacay. Aside from roaming around some of the idyllic spots there and having some “peace, love, and ice cream,” the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo leading lady also reveled in the breath-taking beauty of the ocean views at a resort in Laguna Beach where she stayed.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla marked their 10th anniversary in Thailand
From making us kilig in the movies and teleseryes they top-billed together, the 2 Good 2 Be True stars went on to make our hearts flutter when they shared some snaps taken from their trip to Thailand where they celebrated their 10th anniversary as a real-life couple in May 2022. Since Kathryn loves elephants so much, Daniel agreed to spend their special day at an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai.
Thus, she had nothing but gratitude and joy for the sweet gesture of her reel-and-real-life sweetheart. She wrote in a post: “Thank you for making time for this trip, my love! Thank you for always making sure I feel loved and appreciated.”

As an avid fan basketball, specifically of the Los Angeles Lakers, Richard made sure to watch the team’s bout against Miami Heat during the NBA finals in October 2020 held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles City, California. And it was indeed worth it as his favorite team snagged their 17th NBA championship that night!
But what made it extra fun was that the The Iron Heart leading man was joined by his beloved family – his wife Sarah Lahbati and their firstborn Zion, as well as his sister Ruffa Gutierrez and her daughters Lorin and Venice.

The “AMAKABOGERA” hitmaker kissed 2020 goodbye and welcomed 2021 by spending the rest of the holidays in Dubai, UAE. To celebrate her 40th birthday last year, Jodi decided to hopped on a European trip with her son and travel buddy Thirdy, starting off at The Netherlands. Their first stop was its capital, Amsterdam, which they explored for a day with her entrepreneur and traveler friend Angely Dub. The mother-and-son tandem also swung by the rustic fishing town of Volendam, where they had the opportunity to wear the traditional Dutch clothing and had their stunning photo taken.

Last, but definitely not the least, is Ivana who made her dream of coming to Spain and traveling with her entire family come true in June 2022. Ivana shared their fun and memorable vacation in her two vlogs, in which they had the chance to eat sumptuous local foods, roamed around its busy streets and scenic spots, and even mingled with some of the Filipinos they met there.
