While a lot of celebrity couples we admire started out as on-screen loveteams, Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte were different as their romance first bloomed when they were not paired yet. And now that they’ve been together for five solid years, let’s revisit some of their sweet moments on-and-off-cam that truly made us kilig via this episode of Kapamilya Snaps!
Even though they still found it hard to neither confirm nor deny directly the real score between them during their guesting in Gandang Gabi Vice in 2018, their gestures and the way they speak about each other hinted that there’s indeed more to them than being just “friends”. Besides, the way they call one another “Beb” and Ronnie regarding Loisa “panghabangbuhay” instead of “girlfriend” apparently say it all.
According to the couple, they initially met in workshops when she just came out of Pinoy Big Brother, while he was not appearing yet on television. However, they only grew closer when they began working together on It’s Showtime as members of GirlTrends and Hashtags back in 2016.
After being paired to other actors, they finally starred in their first-ever television program together in Wansapantaym Presents Gelli in a Bottle in 2018 and first movie as the lead stars in the 2020 Star Cinema flick “James and Pat and Dave.” Aside from their occasional performance numbers in ASAP Natin ‘To and It’s Showtime, we’re also able to further see their chemistry on-screen through their stints in the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Fantastica,” 2019 primetime series The General’s Daughter, and in the 2021 iWantTFC Orinal series “UnLoving U.”
But every fan of LoiNie, as what their ardent shippers fondly call them, knows that their sweetest and cheesiest moments actually happen off set.
Who would forget the moment when the on-and-off-screen sweethearts made us kilig with their public display of affection during the Star Magic All-Star Games 2019, wherein they both played in their respective sports – basketball and volleyball?
On that same year, instead of scare, they spread kilig vibes at the Star Magic Black Magic Halloween Party as they graced the event as Mazikeen and Lucifer, the lead characters of the phenomenal hit American series Lucifer.
Most importantly, they never miss to celebrate the most important occasions in their lives, like each other’s birthdays, their anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day. However, going through their respective Instagram pages and watching their vlogs, what makes the couple extra admirable is how they turn the most ordinary days special everytime they are together, especially during this pandemic.
They may not be married yet, but they have already started a small family together with their eight adorable furbaby dogs named Rio, Tokyo, Rocky, Lucky, El, Lexa, Maze, and Mike and a cat named Chloe, which they love to feature in their social media posts and YouTube vlogs, as well as tag along at work sometimes.
