Kapamilya Snaps: Celebrities who exchanged "I Dos" this 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic may have hindered us to fulfill the things that we’ve been dreaming to do, but not the love of our Kapamilya celebrities and their beloved partners who have finally tied the knot this year despite the situation. Let’s look back on the lovely weddings of these 2021 newlyweds in this Kapamilya Snaps feature!

Kapamilya host Luis Manzano and actress Jessy Mendiola announced to the public in April that they already got married in a secret civil ceremony held in Lipa City, Batangas last February. It was only attended by a handful of guests, including their immediate family and close friends.

Her character in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano may have a complicated relationship, Ara Mina is actually now happily married to businessman Dave Almarinez after they exchanged “I dos” in Baguio City last June 30.

The same with her character in Init Sa Magdamag, Yam Concepcion also has a happy ending with her longtime boyfriend Miguel CuUnjieng and they sealed it by tying the knot last July in a civil ceremony aboard a yacht in Manhattan, New York City.

Angel Locsin and Neil Arce surprised everyone when they announced that they are already married through an intimate civil ceremony last August, which was only attended by 10 people, including their immediate family members and her best friend Dimples Romana.

Three years after their civil wedding ceremony, La Vida Lena actor JC De Vera and his non-showbiz wife Rikkah Cruz got hitched for the second time last September as they had their Catholic church wedding held at San Antonio de Padua. Of course, their daughter Lana Athena is part of the entourage.

After years of being together, not to mention having a son, Hashtag member Nikko Natividad finally exchanged “I dos” with his longtime non-showbiz partner Cielo Mae Eusebio in an idyllic garden ceremony held in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Probably unbeknown to us, actor Josh Colet is now a proud husband to former MYX VJ Dani Mortel after getting married last October. They’ve been together for two years before getting engaged in July.

Ritz Azul is also now a proud missus to his first and last boyfriend ever Allan Guy after tying the knot twice, first in Baguio last November, and second in Palawan last December 11.

Just like Ritz, Goin’ Bulilit alumna Trina “Hopia” Legaspi and her longtime sweetheart Ryan Jarina got married as well last November 20. Present at the wedding as bridesmaids were her celebrity Liza Soberano and Michelle Vito.

Indeed, these couples have proven that love can indeed overcome anything, even a pandemic. Congratulations and best wishes to these lovely couples!
