February has always been known as the love month. While we do dedicate this celebration to our significant other, or family and friends, we must not forget to also express our deepest affection to our beloved and adorable pets that has brought immense joy into our lives, just like these devoted Kapamilya pet lovers.

Yassi Pressman

We often see on Yassi Pressman’s Instagram account that she definitely has a huge love for pets. She got cute bulldogs and one of them was actually named after her late father Ronald Pressman. And Yassi shared that this dog really helped her cope with her mourning when her father passed away. Yassi’s sister Issa Pressman is also dog lover and their love for canines went beyond just taking care of them as they already ventured into having a business related to dog care, marketing a line of dog accessories called “Presidential Paws.” Not only does Yassi love dogs but snakes, as well. Yes, you read that right. The Kapamilya actress actually has two small ball pythons, Fluffy and Sky. Yassi actually became interested in caring for snakes after seeing FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano love team partner Coco Martin’s ball pythons. Since Yassi has gotten her pythons, she would usually bring them with her at work - she even brought them to her guesting on Tonight With Boy Abunda.

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin is definitely a genuine animal lover. He takes care of a variety of animals. He has around 10 dogs of various breeds including belgian malinois and a bulldog; he also has parrots and cockatoos, and Matilda, a black and yellow small ball python which was actually given to him by Michael Eigenmann during his birthday. When you scroll through Coco’s Instagram, you can see that he loves spending quality time with his pets. For instance, he would take his dogs for walks in their village and would take his parrots and cockatoos with him every time he works out in his mini gym at home.

Angeline Quinto

Angeline Quinto also finds joy in taking care of and bonding with her pets. She already showed her pet dogs on her Instagram and they were featured as well on Rated K. The ASAP Natin ‘To mainstay has six dogs namely Madonna, Martin, Sweetie. Recently we saw one of her dogs in the recent house raid vlog of Vice Ganda. Aside from her fur babies, Angeline also has a pet cockatoo

Coleen Garcia

First-time parents Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford show their baby boy Amari how much they love him, but the couple also have lots of love to give for their pets. They currently have a cute dog named Tamomo that has its own Instagram account with more than 25k followers. The netizens also love Coleen and Billy’s Sphynx cats named Anya, Dimitri, and Storm. Billy is actually allergic to cats that’s why they chose to take care of hairless cats.

Andrea Brillantes

Andrea is also a dog lover just like most of our Kapamilya pet owners. She has three cute and adorable dogs named Oreo, Chewy, and Marley. Aside from taking care of her pet dogs, Andrea also became interested in having a pig as a pet. In fact, she gave herself a very cute pig which she named Lily during the Year of the Pig in 2019. You would sometimes see Andrea’s pets on her vlogs and Instagram posts.

Kuya Kim

Kuya Kim Atienza is one person we can expect to have a special connection with animals, being the host-presenter of the science-environmental educational show Matanglawin. In fact, he actually has a mini zoo at his home. He has been with his pet Iggy the iguana for 10 years already. Kuya Kim also has another pet iguana, a green Colombian one named Bert who’s already 12 years old. The list of his pets goes on - he has two sulcata tortoises, one of the largest tortoise species in the world. It seems like Kuya Kim loves to own reptile pets as he also has a North American alligator snapping turtle which can be aggressive. He even owns a 21-year-old, 18-foot albino reticulated python named Albee and an 11-year-old green tree python. Despite being fond of owning exotic animals, Kuya Kim also has a heart for dogs. In fact, he has a total of 46 dogs.
