Kapamilya Snaps: Amusing revelations of Kapamilya female celebs about themselves in Celebrity Slambook!

Do you still remember those times when you and your friends and classmates pass on a slam book, either ready-made and bought from a bookstore or do-it-yourself, and giddily (or sometimes sneakily) read the answers of others?

However, with the advent of social media, it has gone obsolete as the current generation is seemingly not fascinated with it or probably never heard of it. Thus, Entertainment.ABS-CBN.com has kept this outdated fad alive by asking some of our favorite Kapamilya celebrities fill out our imaginary slam book in the previous years.

Let’s take a look back on their amusing revelations about themselves in this episode of Kapamilya Snaps!

ASAP Natin ‘To mainstay Moira Dela Torre amazingly bears a pretty long name for she has two first names, three middle names, and a surname – Moira Rachelle Bustamante Cruzado Dela Torre-Hernandez. She may have heard, covered, and written a lot of songs, but it’s her hit single “Tagpuan”, which was inspired by her husband Jason Hernandez, that still stood out for her. And being someone who has a deep connection with God, the “Hugot Queen” staunchly swears by the verse “Everything is beautiful in His time.”

Before she’s hailed as one of the greatest actresses of her time, Maja Salvador began her acting career in the classic romance drama It Might Be You, which was also her first attempt in auditions. The The Killer Bride star reminisced having a lot of fangirl moments then and one of her firsts was towards John Prats, who used to be one of biggest teen stars of their generation. Meanwhile, it was Denise Laurel who she named as her first-ever friend in showbiz.

Describing herself as an “awkward introvert who loves old music”, Janella Salvador revealed that her favorite vacation spot is her bed and her all-time favorite song is Alessi Brother’s “Oh Lori”, which was released in 1976. And she could have been already a star prior to her debut in the iconic 2012 daytime series Be Careful With My Heart, where she met her first-ever showbiz friends Jerome Ponce and Mutya Orquia, if she didn’t froze in her first audition for Goin’ Bulilit when she was six years old.

She may have already achieved her ambitions of becoming a Pinoy Big Brother Big Winner and a famous actress, but Maymay Entrata still aims to finish her studies and to work abroad someday. Besides, being a huge fangirl that she is, she also dreams of working as a supporting role to her favorite artists in future projects. For sure, the iWant ASAP will be able to attain those for she’s fueled by her motto “If others can do it, why can’t I?”

As she displays a sunny disposition and strong-willed persona, we weren’t totally surprised when Bela Padilla, whose real full name is Krista Elisse Hidalgo Sullivan, divulged that her favorite color is yellow and her favorite hobby is freediving. And it seemed that she’s kind of achieved her dream role then of playing a schizophrenic character through her remarkable stint in Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa.

From being just her ambition, followers of Arci Muñoz know that she has already fulfilled her once far-flung ambition then of going to South Korea and attend a concert of her beloved K-pop group BTS to watch them perform their songs which are all her favorite. Fangirls were also able to relate when the Walang Hanggang Paalam star disclosed crying upon seeing for the first time Hayley Williams of the American pop-rock band Paramore many years ago.

We all know how so fond Maris Racal is with writing songs. But when she mentioned that her other hobbies are eating and sleeping, it’s surely hard to believe because of her slim figure, right? The Pamilya Ko star went on to amaze us when she answered “to be a good person” as her ambition and “to be part of a period drama” as her dream role.

Far from her sweet and dainty façade, Kira Balinger’s ultimate dream role is to actually portray a spy ala-Kim Possible. Aside from making it big in the local entertainment scene, the Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin actress also dreams of establishing her own business and travelling the world someday. And she’s not apparently the type who would rush things as she firmly believes that “If it is meant to be, it will be. So let it be.”

The youngest in this list, Sophia Reola enthusiastically filled out our Celebrity Slam book and even gave us a hint of her vocal talent when asked about her favorite song, which is “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” by This Band. Prior to clinching the lead role in the daytime series Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit in 2019, she had her first acting gig (and audition attempt!) in Goin’ Bulilit wherein she probably also met her first-ever showbiz friend Jana Agoncillo. The King of Hearts Daniel Padilla, perhaps, is his celebrity crush as she recounted being starstruck upon seeing him for the first time, while she looks up to Liza Soberano as her role model.

Being an honorary Korean Tourism Ambassadress, it didn’t come as a surprise when Sue Ramirez mentioned Korean food as her favorite. She may be sweet-faced, but she actually possesses a fierce persona as what her motto “I don’t care” suggests and even wanted to be involved in action series, which finally came true via her notable stint in A Soldier’s Heart. She may have already accomplished a lot in her career, but Sue still wishes to pursue her studies.

Barbie Imperial is indeed one proud Bicolana as she named Bicol Express as her favorite food and Albay as her favorite vacation spot. The Bagong Umaga lead actress may have an angelic and kikay façade, but she considers playing online games as her favorite hobby and portraying a psychopathic character or a role similar to Ivy Aguas as her ultimate dream roles.

She may appear outgoing, but she confessed watching movies, reading books, and reorganizing her house as her favorite hobbies. When it comes to her motto, she clings to “follow your purpose, dream big, and find your happiness”.

She may have already accomplished a lot in her local showbiz career, but Cristine Reyes dreams of breaking into the international scene and be part of a Hollywood film. The Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit antagonist, who described herself as “unpredictable”, also recounted her first fangirl moment, which was seeing Lady Gaga in the flesh during her concert here in the Philippines.

While we thought that being an actress has been her dream since she started in the industry as a child star, Shaina Magdayao disclosed that being a pediatrician was actually her ultimate dream. But since that’s already impossible, she currently wishes to work in a non-profit organization. When asked about her dream role, it would be portraying a character with physical disability for her and being able to work with Aga Muhlach again.
