Angelica Panganiban

After going through a series of heartbreaks that ardent showbiz onlookers had witnessed in the past years, Angelica has finally found the happy ending that she truly deserves in her non-showbiz fiancé Gregg Homan. And around two years since they became officially together, he finally knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said, “Ready? Angelica David Panganiban. Will you marry me?” – as seen in one of the vlogs uploaded in their YouTube channel called “The Homans”.

Although they only got to share it last October, a few weeks after welcoming their firstborn Amila Sabine last September 20, the happy couple confessed that the intimate, romantic proposal by the shore happened when she was only four months pregnant.

Angeline Quinto

Arguably, 2022 is also a special year for Angeline because aside from giving birth to a cuddly baby boy named Sylvio, which is a tribute to her beloved Mama Bob, last April, she also got engaged to her non-showbiz partner Nonrev Daquina.

The Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs initially made the announcement during one of her live shows in the United States late this year. She told the crowd, “Nandito po sa audience ang soon-to-be mother-in-law ko. Ang nanay po ng aking fiancé ay nandiyan.” She also shared the good news on her Instagram and YouTube channel by posting a photo of them together as she showed her hand with a ring on it and vlogging about their first-ever trip as a family in Batangas last October.

Arjo Atayde

Their relationship may have received mixed reactions, but Arjo and now-fiancee Maine Mendoza shut off the naysayers by sharing their engagement last July 28. The actor-turned politician proposed to his well-loved girlfriend through an intimate event he arranged and was witnessed by their loved ones. They shared the big news by posting several shots and a video captured during the proposal, which happened exactly eight years after the host-actress tweeted “Arjo cutie” in 2013.

Arjo and Maine first went public with their relationship in March 2019, much to the surprise and delight of their fans. They initially met during the story conference of the movie “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles” on July 28, 2018, which they co-starred with Coco Martin and Vic Sotto. Even though they were not paired romantically on-screen, something did blossom between them off-cam apparently.

Pia Wurtzbach

The Miss Universe 2015 is now a step closer to becoming a missus as her Scottish businessman boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey popped the question last May, a few months after they celebrated their second anniversary in January 2022. They made the announcement by posting a clip from their beach getaway in Amanpulo.

It can be recalled that they first confirmed their relationship in June 2020 via an exclusive interview with a local magazine, which cover they graced together. Pia initially opened up about their love story in a vlog of celebrity photographer BJ Pascual, wherein she revealed that they first met at an event in United Kingdom in 2019. After chatting a bit that night, they went out for a coffee and even got to bond over dinner and even spent the New Year together before she left the country.

Robi Domingo

The Pinoy Big Brother host is now officially “off the market” as he’s able to make his girlfriend Maiqui Pineda say “Yes!” when he proposed to her last November during their trip to Japan with their friends. In the photos and clips shared by them and their companions on social media, it can be seen that he chose to get down on one knee in the middle of the famous Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo.

In one of his vlogs wherein the couple played “Jojowain o Trotropahin”, they revealed that Piolo Pascual served as their cupid since he’s the one who introduced them to one another during the after-party of an ABS-CBN Christmas Special. They had the chance to talk and spend time with each for hours since they were batchmates at Ateneo de Manila University and he was the only person who Maiqui knew in that event.

Ejay Falcon

After six years of dating, Ejay and non-showbiz girlfriend Jana Roxas are set to tie the knot after they got engaged last August, as what he imparted in an IG post. The proposal seemingly happened during her birthday celebration, as the actor-turned-politician wrote in his post, “Excited and looking forward sa next chapters ng buhay natin together baby. Mahal na mahal kita. Happy birthday my future wife.”

The two have been dating since 2016 and have successfully kept their relationship low-key through the years. In his Tonight With Boy Abunda guesting in 2017, Ejay recalled that they first met at her house-warming party in Pansol, wherein he was invited by his friends. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Maja Salvador

Despite having a rule of never going back to an ex, Maja allowed herself to break it as she gave her romance with ex-beau Rambo Nuñez a second chance. As if stroke of fate, their paths crossed anew not just once, but twice, in 2018 – a decade after their brief three-month romance in 2009 when she was only 21. Since the reason for their break-up then was that she was just young, it had been seemingly easy for her to welcome him back into her life.

After around three years of dating, Rambo asked her hand for marriage last April during their family’s Easter celebration in Palawan.
