It’s the time of the year again when we share our most valuable memories and overwhelming admiration and gratitude to our beloved mothers, who have loved, supported, and taken good care us as we grow up, as we celebrate them on Mother’s Day.

First-time moms Janella Salvador and Sofia Andres celebrated the special day by posting photos of them with their little ones on Instagram. The Darna: The TV Series star shared a set of never-before-seen snaps from her maternity shoot two years ago, while Sofia posted an adorable photo of her with her little sweetheart, Baby Zoe. Their respective partners, Markus Paterson and Daniel Miranda, also shared appreciation posts for them.
A few days before Mother’s Day, Angeline Quinto was able to unlock motherhood after giving birth to her firstborn Baby Sylvio last April 28. Of course, she also didn’t forget to pay tribute to the wonderful woman who took good care of her and continues to inspire her – her late Mama Bob, to whom her newborn son was named after – by including her in their family picture.
Magandang Buhay momshie-hosts Jolina Magdangal-Escueta and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco both paid homage to women who has had a major impact on their lives – their respective mothers Momshie Paulette and Momshie Virgie. The Broken Marriage Vow lead actress Jodi Sta. Maria did the same by uploading a photo of her mom and unico hijo Thirdy, and captioned it: “Mama, of all the gifts life has to offer you are greatest of them all. Thank you for the selflessness, sacrifice, and support”.
He may always make us laugh in It’s Showtime, but Vice Ganda also knows how to move us with his huge love for his Nanay Rosario. For Mother’s Day this year, he posted a cute photo of them in the pool and captioned it, “My Mother. My Heart. My Soul”.
He’s Into Her leading lady Belle Mariano didn’t let the special day simply pass without greeting one of her biggest fans – her Mommy Kat! She shared a candid photo of them together and wrote in the caption, ““To the woman who gave me life and taught me how to live it …Happy Mother’s Day! i love you”.
“Misis Piggy” star Iana Bernardez also did not forget to pay tribute to her admirable role model in life – her mom, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actress Angel Aquino. She posted an enthralling shot of her ultimate look-a-like and captioned it, “The best thing in my life. I love you so much”.
Julia Barretto, meanwhile, shone the spotlight on the two strong women, who “both inspire me to become the best version of myself everyday and for that I am thankful” – her mom Marjorie Barretto and ate Dani Barretto. A Family Affair lead actress Ivana Alawi did the same as she greeted the two “strong, amazing Mamas” of their wonderful family – their Mama Fatima and their older sister Almira.
He may have this astig image, but Daniel Padilla actually has a soft heart, especially towards his family. The 2 Good 2 Be True leading man penned a short but sweet message to two of the special women in his life, which read “Lola ko. Nanay ko. Ang mga nagpalaki saakin. Pag Mamahal na hinding hindi ko ipagpapalit – along with photos of him with them.
Similar with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor Richard Gutierrez, who dedicated a post to Sarah Lahbati, his wife and the mother of their two handsome sons. He shared random pictures of her with him and theis kids Zion and Kai, which she captioned, “Thank you for everything that you do for our family and for consistently holding down the fort. We appreciate you my love”.
