Sue Ramirez is lucky. When she was a kid, a trip of a local amusement park turned into an unexpected meet and greet with Pop Fernandez. The singer is the first celebrity that Sue met in real life.

Concerts are a great place to meet your favorites. Arci Muñoz saw and cried when she saw Hayley Williams, the lead singer of American rock band Paramore. Janella Salvador attended Dua Lipa’s show in Manila. They even took a photo together backstage. “Grabe, ang tangkad niya pala in person,” she recalled.

Naturally, as celebrities, they are already in the same world as their idols. When Maja Salvador was a rookie actress, she totally fangirled over John Prats. He was in a love team with Heart Evangelista at the time. Maja likened the tandem’s popularity to that of KathNiel’s today. “Sobrang fan ako ni John,” she added.

Daniela Stranner made her television debut on the primetime series Make It With You. Meeting Liza Soberano on her first day of filming is the fangirl moment that immediately came to mind. RK Bagatsing became excited just by remembering the time he met Cristine Reyes. Just last year, the two starred together in the morning drama Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit.

As a former VJ for MYX, Donny Pangilinan got to interview a number of local and international artists. This includes one of his favorite bands, LANY. When Joshua Garcia was a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother All In back in 2014, Kathryn Bernardo visited Kuya’s famous house for a challenge. Joshua was completely speechless and just watched from afar.
