As we are encouraged to stay inside our homes in the past five months of the community quarantine, everyone of us have arguably discovered new hobbies and developed new skills. While some spend most of their time experimenting new recipes to cook or bake, practicing calligraphy or painting, or tending to their pets or plants, some opt to amuse themselves by binge-watching series and movies, browsing social media, and playing various online games.
And just like us, these are also the same things that made our favorite Kapamilya artists occupied over the past months! Click on the video to find out who among them got pretty productive and the ones who chose to be chill.
Confessing that she’s not the type who’s fond of playing mobile games, Idol Philippines first-ever grand winner Zephanie Dimaranan said that she more enjoys watching movies and playing board games, such as “Sequence”, “Clue”, and “Uno”, along with her sisters and cousins.
When they are not busy with their showbiz commitments and other personal endeavors, Kapamilya artists Enchong Dee, Maymay Entrata, Kyle Echarri, and AC Bonifacio keep themselves occupied with their favorite digital games. Enchong proudly shared how he’s been doing great in Call Of Duty Mobile, while Maymay plays Mobile Legends whenever she’s not busy with her iWant ASAP hosting stint.
Now that he’s in Cebu with his family and away from his Kadenang Ginto co-stars, Kyle disclosed that he’s into Call of Duty Warzone, FIFA, and NBA 2K. While his other friend AC, who recently won second place in an online dance contest staged by K-pop group BLACKPINK, enthusiastically imparted how fond she is of FORTNITE, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and Mario Party.
Meanwhile, beauty queen-turned-actress Maxine Medina doesn’t have the same interest as the aforementioned stars as she’s been keeping herself busy in cleaning the house.
Philippine-based Korean singer Yohan King, on the other hand, imparted in his interview with DJ Jhai Ho in Hotspot last month how her super favorite mobile game League Of Legends has helped him cope with throughout the whole community quarantine.
The same goes for the stars of Black Sheep’s first-ever digital BL (boy love) series “Hello Stranger,” Vivoree Esclito and Patrick Quiroz, who both shared their fondness towards Call Of Duty. However, since she’s not yet still too adept with the game, the promising actress said that she spends most of her time on Mobile Legends.
As both of them are athletes prior to entering showbiz, it wasn’t surprising that Trinity College of Asia varsity basketball player Migs Villasis and University of Sto. Tomas volleyball rookie Genesis Rendido, stars of the YouTube online series “In Between: Sa Pagitan Ng Kumusta At Paalam” are not inclined to playing mobile games. They choose to spend most of their days working out, with Genesis further honing his talent in playing the guitar, while Migs his skills in volleyball.
The same goes for the stars of the first-ever interactive digital BL series “Kumusta Bro?,” Pinoy Big Brother Otso alumnus Sky Quizon, It’s Showtime Bidaman Kristof Garcia, Star Music artist RJ Agustin, and Pinoy Boyband Superstar singer-actor Allen Cecilio, who all shared not being inclined with any mobile game.
Sky became a certified “plantito”, Kristof amuses himself by watching movies and listening to music, Allen whiles away the time by watching vlogs, and RJ has maintained an active lifestyle via swimming, badminton, and volleyball.
So, who among these Kapamilya artists you’re able to relate with?
