Both konteseras with a never-say-die attitude, Zephanie Dimaranan and Janine Berdin used to vie for the same title in singing contests. But the rivalry never got real. Their journeys even brought them closer until they became best friends.

In this episode of Kapamilya Chat, Zephanie promoted her new single “Pasensya Na” and for the sake of fun, and maybe serving us a bit of her acting chops as well, Zephanie prank calls her best friend using a believable script.

Zaphanie warmed it up the night before by chatting with Janine over social media and hinted at having hard feelings towards her. She ‘accused’ her of spilling one of her biggest secrets. Before the call, Zephanie shared that Janine is gullible and soft-hearted, so she thinks she’d make her feel bad.

True to that disclaimer, Janine was utterly affected by Zephanie’s statements. She sounded like crying and swore she keeps her secrets safe. Janine kept on explaining her side while Zephanie tried hard not to burst into laughter. As the conversation turned more serious, Zephanie cut it out, said ‘sorry,’ and revealed the prank. Janine was surprised and relieved.
