The idea of a perfect Valentine’s date according to Kapamilya stars

Prepping for V-Day? Get the most romantic date ideas from these Kapamilya stars! We tell you, they’re so good at planning dates seemingly straight out of rom-com scenes!

The quickest way to a person’s heart is through their stomach. It’s no surprise KZ Tandingan would only wish for her husband’s steak recipe for the perfect date at home.

Most young stars interviewed want to take a break from the loud city noise and opt for somewhere remote, or just peaceful. The ever-laidback Gillian Vicencio thought of a cozy hangout sesh in a tent.

JC Alcantara has a dreamy concept – beach, day bed, lights to accentuate the romantic ‘feels’, music, and moon watching. *sigh*

How about a surfing date? Well, you are at the beach, so might as well maximize the waters and fun bonding activities! For Adrian Lindayag, the ideal date is a long day at the beach – riding the waves ‘til sunset, watching the skies turn dark, and sipping coffee to end the night. Island girl Kiara Takahashi would also love a sun-kissed date by the waters.

Star-studded romance! Take advantage of the night-skies’ precious, dreamy vibes by taking a loved one up hill to gaze at the stars, like what Jeremy Glinoga would probably do in the future. Nature adventure with a dash of kilig is likewise Zephanie Dimaranan’s dream date.

Migs Almendras has date ideas that are very in with the millennials – museum tour, watching movies, and outdoor coffee session.

Dinner dates bring that classic kilig feeling. Kira Balinger thinks it’s perfect during the getting-to-know-each-other stage when you use conversations to gauge a person’s love potential. Juris Fernandez also likes traditional.

But if you want a dinner date that’s a little more fancy, Karina Bautista thinks of a candlelit steak night by the beach while serenaded with romantic music. Her loveteam partner Aljon Mendoza has a simple plan: to just make his date happy and grant anything she’d request.

There’s nothing quite like special days spent with loved ones, family, and kids at home especially now that we remain in quarantine. Roxanne Guinoo defines V-dates as quality time with her three kids. The same goes for Joross Gamboa who plans to bring his wife and kids to a buffet date. For Bugoy Carino, every day is date time with his little family.

You can always take romance to the next level even while at home. For Markus Paterson and Keann Johnson, a good movie and their loved ones’ company are all they need. Yamyam Gucong will not let LDR ruin the kilig vibes and will opt for a virtual date.

If you and bae are itching to travel, a Disneyland adventure would be a good idea (after the pandemic, though). That’s the ideal Valentine’s date for the kid-at-heart Arci Munoz. Joseph Marco also wishes to go on a V-Day trip after the pandemic.

Nash Aguas dreams to travel to Japan with his girlfriend but the latter isn’t allowed to go on overnight trips. So, the ideal date for him is to spend a day – just a day – in Japan and fly back home by night time. He said he’s going to save up for this very special adventure.

Fun is Francis Magundayao’s idea of a perfect V-date, so he’d bring his special someone to a carnival. Hinting at his romantic side as well, he thought of Paris dubbed as the City of Love and Romance.

Rita Avila is not a fan of roses, chocolates, and romantic gestures on Valentine’s Day, saying affection must be expressed everyday, not just every 14th of February. Regine Velasquez rarely spends V-Day with husband Ogie Alcasid. It’s one of their busiest days as performers, with concerts here and there, so they make it up with a post-Valentine’s celebration.

Valentine’s Day may be different this year but love is timeless! What’s your ideal Valentine’s date, Kapamilya?
