Today, we honor the men whose hearts overflow with a love that protects, leads, teaches, and models a path that’s worth following. They are our fathers – our childhood superheroes. To celebrate and remind fathers that their love makes a difference, Kapamilya stars send their special messages and greetings for the Father’s Day celebrations.

Init Sa Magdamag star JM De Guzman salutes fathers and cheers them up during these trying times. “Happy Father’s Day sa mga haligi ng tahanan. Stay strong po and I hope you’re all well and safe.”

Single moms also get a special shout-out from Janine Gutierrez, then, she went on to appreciate her dad, actor Monching Gutierrez. “Sa lahat po ng Tatay diyan, sa mga single moms na rin, Happy Father’s Day! Salamat po sa lahat ng sakripisyo ninyo para sa amin, sa alaga at sa pagmamahal. To my Papa, Happy Father’s Day and I love you so much. Thank you for always being there in a second when I need you. I love you so much at nandito kami lagi para sa sa’yo.”

Enrique Gil says dads also need extra love and much admiration for their perseverance and providing for the family’s needs, making them heroes in their own rights. “Sa lahat ng fathers on heaven and earth, I just want to wish you a Happy Father’s Day. You are very much appreciated. To all the fathers out there who also work hard and bring food to the table. To all the unsung heroes and all the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day!”

They say that being a father comes from the heart and not just about sharing flesh and blood. Liza Soberano can attest to this beautiful truth and she’s thankful also to the father-figures in her life. Here’s her message:

“Happy Father’s Day to all fathers out there! I myself have a few. I have my biological father. I have a grandpa who raised me, I call him Daddy. I have a step-father. I am grateful for all the men in my life for treating me as their own even if I wasn’t really their own. I just want to say thank you for all the hard work that you do to keep the family alive and for taking care of your kids and just being great role models to your children and being great parents.”

Fatherhood is never a walk in the park, especially on days like these when everyone’s courage and faith are tested. Knowing exactly the struggle of being a dad, Cris Villanueva inspires fellow ‘papshies’ to celebrate the special day with their families. Cris says:

“Mga Kapamilya Dads, gusto ko po kayong batiin ng isang Happy Father’s Day. Huwag po tayong magpapdarang sa pandemic na ito para i-celebrate ang ating araw with the family. Kung maaari po, pakiyakap ang inyong mga anak para sa akin. Mga Kapamilya Dads, ito po si Cris Villanueva, bumabati sa inyo ng Happy Father’s Day!”

Zaijian Jaranilla has a short but sweet greeting for his dad. “Hi, Pa! Happy Father’s Day!”

Mitoy Yonting wishes all dads blessed days ahead. “Sa lahat ng mga erpats diyan, mga Daddy, Tatay, Papa, Happy Father’s Day sa inyo. God bless you more!”

Jake Zyrus, who has a tattoo dedicated to his late dad, honors all fathers for their priceless devotion and care. “I just want to say thank you sa lahat ng mga super dads out there for taking care of your family. I salute you very, very much. God bless you all and I love you!

On this special day, Klarisse De Guzman hopes all dads will feel extra happy and loved, as a reward to their sacrifices for the family.  “Sa lahat po ng mga fathers at tumatayong tatay po, gusto ko po kayong batiin ng Happy Father’s Day. Maraming salamat po sa pagmamahal ninyo sa aming mga anak ninyo, sa pagiging haligi ng tahanan. Saludo po kaming lahat sa inyo at sana po maging masaya kayo sa araw ninyo. “

Meryll Soriano greets three important men in her life – first, her biological father, comedian-TV host Willie Revillame. “To my Papa, I love you so much. You are an inspiration to everybody. Be healthy lang lagi, yan lang ang aking hiling.” She also honors her Japanese step-dad: “Papa Guchi, arigato, aishiteru. Happy Father’s Day!”, and her partner Joem Bascon, “At kay Joem na magce-celebrate ng kanyang first Father’s Day ngayong taon, Happy Father’s Day sayo and I love you.” Meryll and Joem introduced their baby on New Year’s Day.

Aljon Mendoza is full of gratitude to his father and all dads out there. “Sa ating magigiting na tatay lalo na sa aking tatay na si Tatay Arnold Mendoza, I love you much and thank you for always taking good care of our family.”

Magandang Buhay hosts Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal, and Melai Cantiveros greet fathers in unison. Init sa Magdamag star Gab Lagman wishes all ‘haligi ng tahanan’ a blessed, happy and special Father’s Day.

In times when a father faces trials and pain, prayers will hold the answer, says Manuel Chua, who reminds everyone to always seek the help of the Heavenly Father – the true and perfect model of fatherhood. Manuel says, “Happy Father’s Day po sa lahat. Alam ko hindi madali maging tatay, maging padre de pamilya, so laging dasal lang sa Diyos para sa tulong at gabay.”
