The music of Queen of Hugot Songs Moira always touches us because she comes from a place of honesty. After a fair share of heartaches, we witnessed how she found love in fellow singer-songwriter Jason. Their outdoor wedding on Narra Hill at Tagaytay, Cavite early this year was as graceful as the music they create. Moira even wrote one of her original songs as part of the wedding vows.

 

Yeng Constantino and Yan Asuncion

Pinay Pop Rock Royalty Yeng and her fellow musician boyfriend Yan also tied the knot in Tagaytay way back in 2015. While they dated for just months, their long standing friendship and deep relationship centered in God showed them that they are the one meant for each other forever.

 

Karylle and Yael Yuzon

It’s Showtime host Karylle fully gave her heart to Sponge Cola frontman Yael in March 2014. They had a traditional but grand church wedding in San Antonio de Padua Church in Silang, Cavite. As a romantic love letter, their wedding clips were featured in the music video of Sponge Cola’s single “Singapore Sling.” Captioned to the video is  “Dahil kilala na kita, handa na akong kilalanin ka pa.”

 

Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano

The pure relationship of multitalented star Toni and director Paul is a love that many rooted for. Dating for several years under the strict but reasonable rules of Toni’s parents was not an obstacle for Paul at all. Finally in June 2015, they exchanged “I dos” on the exact day of their 8th anniversary as a couple. As they are both busy people always working in the big city, they decided to have their wedding in Toni’s hometown, Taytay, Rizal.

 

Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada

Toni’s sister and trending personality Alex Gonzaga also found true love in her long-time boyfriend Mikee Morada. Despite getting married during the COVID-19 pandemic in November 2020, they had a lovely  wedding in Alex’s family home in Taytay. In fact, it only made the celebration more intimate since just close family and friends knew about it. The couple shared with fans in January 2021 that they have already been married for months.

 

Amy Perez and Carlo Castillo

It’s Showtime’s Tyang Amy Perez has waited long to finally tie the knot with radio host partner Carlo Castillo. After years of dating and having two children, they were able to set a wedding date in November 2014. They celebrated the joyous day in the exquisite Mango Farm in Antipolo, Rizal. 

 

Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola

Versatile host Luis and actress Jessy may be prominent personalities, but they like to keep their sweet love story to themselves most of the time. In February 2021, they got married in Lipa City, Batangas and only invited the closest friends and family to the event. It was months after when they let the whole world know that they are now each other’s spouses. They did reveal that they will have a traditional church wedding soon when the quarantine situation eases.

 

John Prats and Isabel Oli

Celebrity couple John and Oli have a big and adorable family now with their three children as their love all started in 2013. After two years of dating, they got married by May in Batangas. It was a spectacular celebration with the theme inspired by the four seasons. Their church wedding had a snowy winter theme, which was followed by a summery lunch out. They then had a second ritual which was the Christian wedding rites with a fresh spring theme. The whole event was topped off with a relaxing autumn-themed dinner reception.

 

KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde

Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ and her musician partner TJ brought their relationship to the next level in August 2020. They exchanged vows amongst the lush greenery of The Farm at San Benito, Batangas. It was only in October 2020, that the world was able to see the photos online and view the wedding events in the music video of the couple’s song “Can't Wait To Say I Do”.

 

Iza Calzado and Ben Wintle

Talented actress Iza and her British-Filipino businessman partner Ben Wintle have been together for more than six years before getting engaged in 2017. A year later, specifically in December 2018, the power couple decided to tie the knot on the sandy beaches of Coron, Palawan.

 

Bianca Gonzalez and JC Intal

Also exploring their adventurous side, Kapamilya host Bianca and former professional basketball player JC chose to have a beach destination wedding in El Nido, Palawan. The simple intimate island wedding ceremony in December 2014 was followed by a big wedding party at the Araneta Coliseum a few days after. 

 

Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones

Both sharing a passion for surfing and the sea, celebs Jericho and Kim had a perfect wedding location in mind. The beautiful couple celebrated their union on the natural white sand beaches of Boracay, Aklan back in May 2014. They had a wonderful wedding by the sea and an outdoor reception after.

 

Jay-R and Mica Javier

Singer-songwriter Jay-R and his girlfriend Mica tied the knot in March 2020 in Boracay as well. They’ve been through a lot already since they’ve been together for more than seven years before they got married. Realizing that they just want each other for the rest of their lives, they sealed the deal among family and friends.

Even if the couple’s love is the only thing that matters in a wedding, we can’t deny that the location can make it more memorable.
