KSnaps Celebrity Matching Tattoos

Regardless if it’s henna or permanent, or how it looks, every tattoo definitely has a significant story behind it. It can be a creative symbolism of a personal milestone, our special bond with someone who’s so dear to us, or we simply just want to be inked by a certain design.

And making it extra special is being able to share it with our loved ones who mean so much to us. Just like the celebrities in this Kapamilya Snaps feature who forged their permanent connections with their partner, family members, and friends by getting matching tattoos.

Vice Ganda and Ion Perez

Avid fans of this lovely couple surely know that each of them have their own set of tattoos, which they proudly wear. And just recently, they delighted us when the Unkabogable Star shared in her latest vlog that they now have couples’ inks, which were done by a cameraman of It’s Showtime at their studio dressing room.

They got “i am with you,” “king and queen,” “forever,” a smiley, and a heart on their hands, which were all minimalist and cute.

Angelica Panganiban, Bela Padilla, and Kim Chiu

These trio have been friends for a long time now, which began when they attended and bonded at a birthday party. And in order to commemorate their unexpected, admirable friendship, Angelica, Bela, and Kim agreed to have a simple and small black circle tattoo on their left wrists in February 2019. The It’s Showtime host posted about it on her IG and wrote in the caption: “we may not see each other most of the time but we always have each other’s back!!!”

Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing

It was in 2021 when this real-life pair made their relationship social media-official. Since then, they’ve been making their followers kilig with their sweetness, as seen in the photos and videos that they post online.

But what probably thrilled us the most was when they posted pics of their adorable tiny couple tattoo on Christmas day of 2021. They have it on their left pinky fingers – with Jane having the two dots, while RK has the curved line. These may look simple individually, but they actually form a smiley face once combined.

When asked about the story behind it, the Nag-aapoy Na Damdamin actress disclosed during a virtual media conference in 2022 that it was actually an impulsive decision. She explained, “Hindi kumpleto ‘yong smiley 'pag wala siya. Nasa kanya ‘yong smile, so 'pag magkasama kami, it's a smiley face. Napaka-small but meaningful—and I'm happy. It's cute.”

Heaven Peralejo and Mommy Luanne

Ever since her Pinoy Big Brother days, we already know how close-knit the relationship of Heaven is with her Mommy Luanne. It can be recalled that she was her reason for joining the reality show in 2016, and for eventually voluntarily exiting in order to grant her wish to see her first after her operation when she was still battling cancer. And going through their Instagram posts, we could see snaps of them enjoying each other’s company, which prove that they’re besties, too!

And in 2019, the actress shared that she got one of the most delightful surprises of her life when her Mama didn’t just agree for her to get her first tattoo, but for them to have matching, too. Both of them have two swallow birds inked on their right outer wrists, which, according to her, symbolize “a lot for us especially our love for traveling, there were a lot of times when we were lost commuting but we didn’t care because we knew that as long as we’re together we can face it with a brave heart similar to how we face our daily battles in our lives.”

Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo

Six years after tying the knot in 2016, Kaye and husband Paul Jake agreed to get a couple tattoo, which represented not only their love for each other, but for their two sons Joaquin and Iñigo, too. In July 2022, they documented in a vlog their trip to a tattoo shop in Cebu and the amusing process that they went through in deciding what design to have. In the end, they opted to have four dots inked on their lower right arms that stand for each member of their family.

Kyle Echarri and older brother Nico

Fans of Kyle certainly know how such an endearing kuya he is to his younger sister Isabella, who sadly passed away last April 2023 after succumbing to a brain tumor. And as his way of paying tribute to her and showing his unwavering love for her, he decided to get inked with a red heart drawn by Isabella herself when she was still alive on his right inner wrist. Their eldest brother Nico also does the same, but on his left hand.

Nadine Lustre, Kiana Valenciano, Lauren Reid, and Andrea Luis

One of the celebrities who proudly flexes her tattoos is Nadine. But did you know that one of her aesthetic tattoos matches with three of her BFFs?

In 2018, she, Kiana Valenciano, Andrea Luis, and Lauren Reid got delicate sparkle outlines on their side wrists. Andrea posted an adorable photo of them flexing their identical tatts and wrote in the caption: “Find people in your life who bring out the sparkle in you. Loved ones, someone new, friends who become family, best friends who become sisters. Be true to yourself and to who you are and anything will be possible. Cliché maybe, but don’t let anybody ever dull your sparkle.”

What about you, Kapamilya? Do you also have matching tattoos with a loved one? Or are you still thinking of having one (or even a few)?
