John Arcilla reflects on his purpose as an actor and what the "cup of life" means for him today.
After winning the Philippines' first-ever Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 78th Venice International Film Festival for his role in the film "On the Job: The Missing 8," the veteran actor is filled with gratitude and hopefulness for the future of the Filipino artists in the global stage.
“For me, there’s no way to go but up. I am an actor, this is what I do. I want to share this [award] to the extent of wherever I can bring it. I want to bring it to the world. That’s from the very beginning of my principle in life. If I want to be an actor, I want to be an actor of the world," the FPJ's Ang Probinsyano star tells us.
