Arci Muñoz takes a trip down memory lane as she reminisces her childhood days and hair transformations

Certainly, many of us already missed seeing the beautiful, talented, and bubbly Arci Muñoz on television since it has already been six months since the last time we saw via her stint as Betty in the well-loved primetime series Pamilya Ko. And recently, DJ Jai Ho caught up with her via Jeepney TV’s Showbiz Pa More.

After sharing us to her preferences in the Would You Rather Challenge, wherein we also found out that there’s a certain “Dong” who has been making her heart happy nowadays, she then went on to take us on a trip down memory lane as she talked about some of the photos she uploaded on Instagram and a video clip of her uploaded on Wacky Kiray’s social media in the “Throwback Kahit Hindi Thursday” segment.

For the first image, which was her painting of the “Ghost Fighter” main characters, the 31-year-old actress recalled how she used to be so excited to go home from school to watch it on TV when she was still a kid. She also showed some of her other artworks and her childhood teks collection (as well as how to count and play them!).

She then proceeded on talking about her ever-changing appearance of her hair, revealing that the main reason behind her chameleon-like transformations is her desire to give a distinct look to every character that she plays.

“Wala pa akong role na nagpareho ako ng hair. Gusto ko sa bawat gagawin kong palabas, iba-iba itsura ko. Tapos in between, nagkukulay ako ng hair kasi sa mga role, hindi ka pwede mag-pink hair,” she disclosed and went on to enumerate the hair changes she did for some of her series, such as Pasion de Amor (2015), Since I Found You (2018), Pamilya Ko (2019), and the iWant original series “Jhon En Martian” (2019). “Ayaw naming mag-ulit. So ‘yon, iba-iba e. Basta nagde-depende siya sa role saka kung bored ako. Parang itong lockdown, ako naggugupit ng buhok ko e.”

Arci went on to also brought us back to the basic military training she went through a few months ago under the Philippine Airforce along with her best friend and Pamilya Ko co-actor JM de Guzman.

Then she recounted telling their kind training officers to not be easy on them, especially on her, for she’s completely willing to experience the drills every aspiring reservist has to do. Besides, it was also a great privilege for her to know that she’s the first woman of her generation to undergo basic military training.

DJ Jai Ho and Arci looked back as well to her I Can Do That days as the video of her practicing her aerial silk dance routine filmed by her contender Wacky Kiray was flashed on the screen.
