Is there anything more complicated than love? There are all sorts of problems before, during and even after a relationship. And sometimes friends get involved too which only makes the situation even more difficult. This is why Angelica Panganiban is here to answer fans’ questions and give pieces of advice to soothe your hearts!
It will always be hard when your bestfriend starts to date your ex. So, imagine how awkward it would be for everyone when they show their affection for each other. “Kahit sila din naman I’m sure maiilang na maging sweet at ipakita nila mag-boyfriend-girlfriend sila sa harapan mo,” Angelica suggested. Respect is important, but the heart wants what it wants. The best you can do is muster every ounce of understanding and patience for the couple. Hopefully, when you find yourself in a relationship again then you might feel more comfortable seeing your best friend and ex together. “Para lang din maging komportable ka doon sa sitwasyon na hindi nasi-single out, na ikaw na lang ‘yung mag-isa and silang dalawa ‘yung nagkatuluyan,” Angelica explained.
On the other hand, there are some cases where the ex starts to date someone who looks exactly like you. This should not bother you, but if it does then maybe there are some unresolved issues left on your part. Angelica knows the pain of being replaced, “Bakit pinagpalit niya ko, kamukha ko lang din, bakit ‘di na lang ako?” She has asked the same questions to herself. When this happens, you might be looking for something wrong in yourself to justify what the other person did to you which is the wrong way to look at a failed relationship. “Kung ano man ‘yung mali, hindi lang ‘yun sa'yo. Dalawa kayong hindi match,” the Banana Sundae mainstay stated. So, the best course of action is let go and move on by focusing on yourself.
Angelica Panganiban also offered some advice on what to do when the spark is gone, how to react when your date prefers your friend and more! So, do not miss this episode of #AskAngelica.
