The Legends of Dawn: Sacred Stone ABS-CBN

Fans of the popular mobile Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) title “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” have expressed excitement in anticipation of the first-ever animated series, The Legends of Dawn: The Sacred Stone, set to premiere through ABS-CBN’s linear TV platforms.

In a tweet early August, “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” game developers Moonton announced the animated series that will air by the end of 2021 on streaming services and TV networks in Asia, notably in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. ABS-CBN will air the series on September 19 and 26, and October 3 on the Kapamilya Channel and A2Z Channel 11.

In its Instagram post announcing the series, Moonton stressed that the MOBA game has “brought fun and joy to the hundreds of millions of gamers around the world through new experiences,” which it said was “one of its core missions”

Its partnership with ABS-CBN in airing the series for its massive Filipino gaming community “will bring our beloved heroes to life as they venture through the Imperial Capital in search of the Sacred Stone.” The Legends of Dawn: The Sacred Stone, Mobile Legends Bang Bang added, “will throw fans of the franchise on a light-hearted and comedic journey filled with refreshing visuals.”

ABS-CBN and Moonton had previously partnered for the holding and broadcast of the “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Philippines” tournament through its digital platforms.

The anime series will offer players an original storyline that is very much related to the characters in the game. As the Moonton statement said, the Mobile Legends heroes will take on an adventure to the Imperial Capital to look for the Sacred Stone.  These characters, including Claude, Dexter, Alucard, Fanny, and Tigreal, will be rendered in striking three dimensional (3D) animation, with a distinct anime feel.

Catch the unprecedented, much-awaited animated series The Legends of Dawn: The Sacred Stone, based on the popular mobile game “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang,” on consecutive Sundays on September 19, 26, and October 3, 7pm-7:30pm on the Kapamilya Channel and A2Z Channel 11.
